Bainland Country Park is really unique as it offers a mix of holiday styles wrapped up in one great quality holiday park. The gorgeous location makes Bainland Country Park perfect for relaxing getaways - it really is a tranquil Haven in the midst of rural Lincolnshire. At the same time there is so much to do that even the most active families will be spoilt for choice. From the 9-Hole Golf Course and Archery to the Tennis, Bowls and Cycle Hire there is really something for everyone.
The Indoor Heated Pool is a real highlight and the ideal place to relax or have a splash around. You could try out some fun water activities such as Snorkelling, WaterWalkerz and Sea scooters. When it comes to eating and drinking then there are plenty of options. There is a Bar on site serving food and drinks in a welcoming atmosphere. In the evenings head for the Clubhouse which offers family entertainment at weekends during peak season.
The accommodation at Bainland Country Park is of an excellent quality. We love the Allington Lodge which comes with it's own private hot tub - the perfect way to round off the day. Brand new for 2011/2012 this is a really modern and luxurious lodge with the WOW factor. The mater double bedroom comes with en suite bathroom and there are two other bedrooms as well. Mod cons include the flatscreen TV, well equipped kitchen and dishwasher. These lodges also come with fantastic views over the park or the golf course.

Fun Days Out in Lincolnshire

Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families. In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience. Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats. The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things. We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too. We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.

This is one of our favourite attractions in the Lincolnshire region and has been awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year - evidence of the great day out offered to families and couples alike. With both entertainment and conservation in mind the Natureland Seal Sanctuary carries out some excellent work work with abandoned baby seals has become known world wide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres. Kids love a visit here as they get to watch the bright coral fish and feed the pets in the children's corner. Feeding time for the penguins and the seals is always a highlight of the day.

Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love. There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls. Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too. A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature. Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel! If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
