With an enviable location in the midst of the Waveney Valley these stylish lodges will appeal to both families and couples searching for a peaceful holiday base in the Norfolk area.  You will have the best of both worlds with a rural location and yet within easy reach of the city of Norwich with an array of shops, cafes and restaurants. The Norfolk Broads are also ideal for days out and exploring.

The Kingfisher Lodge is brand new for 2011 and we think makes a stylish holiday choice.  The decor is of a very high standard and there are plenty of mod cons to make your stay a real home from home.  From a top of the range flatscreen tv with freeview to a well equipped kitchen everything has been designed with your comfort and convenience in mind.

Sleeping up to 6 adults the Kingfisher Lodge is spacious and well laid out with one double and one twin bedroom.  Both rooms enjoy a private ensuite bathroom.  There is additional sleeping for two in the lounge area.  Outside the lodge the luxury continues with decking, garden furniture and a private outdoor hot tub.  We think this lodge makes a perfect holiday choice all year round thanks to the central heating and double glazing.

Close by there are some great days out including Banham Zoo less than 6 miles from the lodges and Melsop Farm Park just 15 miles away.  Both of these attractions are ideal for families with children but will also appeal to couples.

Fun Days Out in Norfolk

Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
