lovely little site which is expanding. Quiet peaceful location perfect for a relaxing weekend away with the girls. We didn't actually set foot outside other than to use the hot tub so can't comment on local area. Lodge was lovely though, home from home and very clean. Would definitely go again.

Very good stay at Colliery lane lodges, lodge was well equipped and was nice and modern, lovely warm and welcoming. Kitchen well equipped, really big american fridge, TV with DVD player, plenty of space. Staff very friendly and helpful but left us to enjoy the lodge :). Hot tub was really nice and warm as soon as we got there. Only downside was that there was no wifi, but not a major issue and perhaps could do with a bit more optional lighting on the decking. Play area for children, although we didnt use this, we thought it was a nice addition. Overall a fantastic stay.

Lovely lodge, very clean .
Not a lot to do onsite, but ideal if you want to just relax
Had a good short break. Location was great for us as was catching up with friends and family in area. Liked the space between lodges, keeps a level of privacy. We visited after a period of torrential rain so didn't necessarily see It at its best but would be happy to return. We all enjoyed the hot tub. A couple of very minor issues were dealt with promptly when we reported them on first day.
Amazing :) loved it, lovely lodges with everything you could possibly need. Well worth the money withlots to see and do on site and nearby
Great lodge for a family holiday. Plenty of family days out nearby and lots of great National Forest locations.

Had a fantastic few days away. We were after peace and quiet, and thats exactly what we got. The lodge is lovely, will definatly be going back.
