Everything you needed in the kitchen, plus mop and bucket, broom, dustpan and brush and an efficient vacuum cleaner - all of which were clean and usable, not always the case in our experience! "Our 2nd stay at this beautiful park. The lodge was clean, very spacious and comfortable. We all enjoyed using the pool several times and the crazy golf, table tennis and games room were a hit with the kids. Shame the restaurant hasn't re-opened as good quality pub food was quite scarce nearby. The best meal we had was at Stepping Stones. Would like to say a big thank you to Natalie for making us feel so welcome and being so approachable and helpful."

Of course you can't mention attractions in Staffordshire without featuring the fabulous Alton Towers theme park. The site is rather unique and features a huge array of rides including log flumes, roller coasters and pirate ships. The purpose of the British Wildlife Rescue Centre is to treat and care for injured wildlife which cannot be released into the wild. Crazy Crocodiles Indoor Play & Party Centre - LL30 1DR

This is an all weather attraction located in Ilkeston Derbyshire. With a large play frame as well as bikes and ride on toys this is a fun place for young children. The toddler time sessions take place during term times on week days from 9.30am until 2.30pm and are very popular. The admission fee is excellent value for money and parents can sit down and enjoy a drink while the children play. A new baby changing facility has now been installed together with some new chairs making this a clean and welcoming attraction for families.
