Oasis Lodges have a stunning location in Herefordshire, surrounded by beautiful meadowland. These lodges offer a rather unique holiday experience with one of the country's only natural bio-top swimming pools onsite. We recommend Oasis Lodges to couples and families looking for a peaceful, rural retreat.

Facilities at Oasis Lodges include a children's play area, shared sauna and hot tub, WI-FI and massage service. Locally there are a number of attractions including Queenswood Country Park and Barrington Hall.  For families a day of Lama Trekking at Old Kings Street Farm offers a unique and fun experience.

For smaller families the Tadpole Lodges are ideal. Brand new in 2010 these lodges have open plan living space, external decking with furniture and 2 bedrooms. Dragonfly Lodges are larger and can sleep up to 6 people. These spacious 2 storey lodges are ideal for two families to share as they have two double bedrooms and one twin. Lily Lodge is similar to Dragonfly Lodge in layout and design but has the addition of a luxurious private hot tub on the external deck.

Fun Days Out in Herefordshire

Lamas are gentle, affectionate and unique animals and Lama Trekking is fast becoming a popular family attraction. At Old king Street Farm you can spend the day with the charming creatures and enjoy feeding them, grooming them and having a stroll through the woodland. Lamas are not ridden but they can carry all the picnic essentials including tables and chairs! Lama Treks around the stunning Black Mountains are also available.
Queenswood Country Park has a stunning location offering panoramic views of the countryside. The area is abundant with wildlife and you can see how many species you can spot while enjoying the nature trails. The park also has a large children play area and a licensed café. Seasonal activities can be enjoyed during school holidays and at peak times of the year including Halloween events and crafting sessions as well as ranger led walks.
Barrington Hall is an excellent place for a day trip and is particularly popular in the summer when the grounds and gardens are at their best. There is plenty of open space for children to play and many families like to bring a picnic. The beautiful house dates back to the 17th Century and the interior has been sympathetically restored to retain many original features. The ornamental gardens offers beautiful floral displays at all times of the year. Children's activities can be enjoyed during school holidays.
