Ashlea Pools has a spectacular location in one of the most beautiful and peaceful parts of south Shropshire and holds the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation. The site itself is recommended to couples and families seeking rest and relaxation although outdoor activities are plentiful in the area.
Affording stunning views over the picturesque valleys and rolling hills, these lodges have an exclusive and tranquil feel. Locally the market towns of Ludlow, Church Stretton, Bishop's Castle and historic Shrewsbury are all within easy reach and offer many attractions. Popular day trips include Ironbridge Gorge and Blists Hill Open Air Museum, however many guests simply prefer to sit back and watch the wild birds and waterfowl on the lake.
There are two types of lodge to choose from at Ashlea Pools. The Mandarin Lodge sleeps 4 and is luxurious and spacious. The Kingfisher Lodge Plus can sleep up to 6 and has two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the lounge. The Kingfisher also has a private outdoor hot tub.

Fun Days Out in Shropshire

This award winning theme park in Shropshire has something for everyone. Children will delight at the amazing array of rides and activities. Described on their own website as a "fairytale adventure" there is a nursery rhyme and fairytale characters theme running throughout the park. One inside the park you can enjoy unlimited free rides and there's an indoor soft play area for the younger ones and for when the weather is not on your side.
