A lovely lodge but pay before you arrive! When we arrived i had to pay the balance of £275 but they wouldn't take card payments, i had to go the cash machine a couple of miles away and get the cash. Also if you need 24 hour internet you will have a problem. We had read that it was free WiFi so this was great as my wife does alot of work from home. At first we didn't have a problem but around 6 o'clock we couldn't connect. The next day i went to reception and asked if their was a problem with the internet and was told that it is not left on all the time as people were using it for watching films till all hours of the morning? They also deducted £25 of our deposit for additional cleaning, i can only think that must have been for leaving the dishes in the dishwasher.

Lovely lodge with everything that you need for a great break
Lodge spotless clean and hottub very relaxing.
Lovely lodge. Well maintained and clean and comfortable.
Hot tub controls were locked, so water temperature couldn't be adjusted. This meant the water temperature was actually too cold, particularly for the time of year.
A few issues with a light on the blink and slight lack of storage- but generally very nice.

Excellent time plenty to see and do in a30mile raius
Very enjoyable stay at Beaconsfield Park. Lodge was very lovely, very clean and had everything you needed. Hot tub was brill and very private.
On our way to the lodge they rang and asked how many beds we needed making up. We said one as only two of us but did not give a nice vibe as we were then confined to one room. Also a bit stingy!
On arrival we were asked to pay £75 deposit which was unexpected and left us feeling vulnerable.
The lodge was really nice and cosy with a bath in the bedroom and hot tub was nice although they set the hot tub at 37 degrees and would not increase it when we asked. The reason he gave was that 37 degrees is body temperature! We thought it went without saying that being an outdoor HOT tub that it would be above normal body temperature.
For such a high spec place we expected WiFi however this is only available at the club house. We asked for help as had both planned on catching up on work on laptops whilst there but he said if you have that much to do I suggest going to the clubhouse!
The lodge was overal nice but the customer service ruined it. I left my winter coat there and rang and asked for them to post it - they did which was nice although took £10 off my deposit.
Would not stay again as felt unwelcome due to only making up one bed and also felt everything we asked was an issue.
Fabulous weekend. Staff friendly and very helpful.
The restaurant was lovely and very well organised and food was amazing!!
Superb lodge and great location. Close to Shrewsbury town 10 min drive. Our 2nd stay and will visit again
A lovely holiday lodge generally. Very spacious and well equipped.
The restaurant onsite is a must but book prior to arrival....spotless clean lodges....friendly staff. This the second time staying at the Beaconsfield and looking forward to staying again.
We were sure we'd read somewhere in the site information that Shrewsbury was about a 2 mile walk, but this was definitely not the case. It was actually a 2 mile walk along the a49 to the park and ride bus.
Lovely, peaceful grounds.
Very friendly staff.
Would recommend and definitely stay again.
Only negative part of our stay is that the heating wouldn’t work, however the owners came straight away to fix it! We would love to stay again!
