Kp Lodges
This cluster of uber-cool luxury lodges were brand new in 2009 and have a fantastic setting within a 200 acre country estate. The lodges afford stunning views of the countryside and golf club. The area around the site is a haven for wildlife and guests can enjoy the many picturesque walks and cycle paths as well as the nature trails.
The KP Estate is popular with couples, groups of friends and also families who appreciate the fresh air and open space. Of course golf lovers will be in their element with the fantastic course and golf shop. The Glasshouse bar and restaurant provides a relaxed setting for a meal or drink and has amazing views of the golf course. You may even see a deer or two running past.
The peaceful village of Pocklington is just a short drive away and the historic city of your can be reached in under an hour. The seaside resorts of Scarborough and Bridlington are also within reach.
These contemporary deluxe lodges boast their own outdoor hot tubs the ideal way to relax and unwind after a days sightseeing. Millington Lodge was new in 2009 and has a stylish open plan interior with two bedrooms and large family bathroom. The Pocklington has three bedrooms making it a good option for larger families. The stylish and contemporary lay out of the York Lodge provides spacious accommodation for a group and has an open plan living area and four bedrooms set over 2 storeys.

Fun Days Out in Vale of York

This fun maze will keep the whole family entertained although there are plenty of other activities on site to keep the kids amused. Some of the best attractions include the electric quad bikes, sand and play water zones, tractor trailer rides and the animal farm. As well as being easy to get to the York Maze offers great value for money. The indoor cafe is really handy when you want a bit to east or a hot drink. They serve hot and cold food, home made sandwiches and salad boxes so there are healthy options too.

Situated in Malton in North Yorkshire this has to be one of our favourite family days out. It's a theme park and zoo all in one stretching over a massive 400 acres. With thrilling rides for the very daring like Cliff Hanger, Corkscrew and Kumali, there are also more gentle rides for the little ones such as Frog Hopper and Helitoys. Family fun attractions include the 4D cinema, the lost river ride and the Little Monsters Den of Mischief. Check out their website for seasonal events which take place throughout the year and you can also gain more information about the zoo. Flamingo Land is a resort as well as a theme park so you can also book accommodation there.
