Forming part of the exclusive Autograph Lodge Holiday collection Oakwood Lodges are beautifully located amidst the beautiful scenery of the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds. The lodges are also well situated for exploring the many treasures of the Yorkshire coastline including some traditional seaside resorts and attractions.
These brand new luxury lodges have been carefully furnished and have all the mod cons as well as the added luxury of a large contemporary outdoor decking area with private hot tub. There is no better place from which to enjoy the stunning views! Bike hire is available onsite and provides a great way to explore. Many guests simply choose to relax and beauty treatments are available in the comfort of your lodge on request.
All of the lodges at Oakwood were new in 2009 and offer stylish and very spacious accommodation. The Acorn is perfect for a romantic escape and is a stunning lodge with feature bed, free standing bath and steam room. The Oak and Bramble Lodges both have two bedrooms and are stylish and contemporary. All of the lodges have private outdoor hot tubs.

Fun Days Out in Yorkshire

This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire. Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour. You will have the chance to bottle feed the lambs, bath a pig and handle some of the smaller animals. Kids will love the big sandpit and the outdoor play area. There is also a cafe and indoor play area for when the weather is not on your side.

This is an outstanding world heritage site located close to Ripon in the North Yorkshire area. Nature lovers will be in their element with an abundance of wide open spaces to explore and there are special guided tours for families. Some of the highlights may include seeing wild deer and bats during your visit. The grounds are fantastic to wander round but there is also an Elizabethan Mansion, Victorian Church, Georgian Water Garden and the finest example of Cistercian Abbey ruins in the country - Well worth a visit!
