Date of stay: 2nd April 2018
Lodge was brilliant. Spacious, well stocked, nice and modern, we did find pet hairs as the stay went on but we knew it was pet friendly. Hot tub took a while to warm but again I was expecting that. I would have preferred a choice of pillows but it was still really comfy.

Date of stay: 16th March 2018
We loved this place.
The lodge was beautifully fitted and had everything we needed. Could have done with a hoover as we had the dog and the hot tub was too hot but Im just being picky.
The staff we fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure we had a fab holiday
Date of stay: 12th March 2018
The lodge needed a few areas to undergo a deep clean, the oven and hob especially. The rub in the seating area also needs a deeper clean. The hole in the bathroom paneling by the toilet should have been fixed.
A fantastic holiday. The staff are really warm and friendly. Going over and above to make sure we had everything we needed. I would really recommend. Great location for the south lakes
Beautiful 2 days at Brockwood Hall. Staff are very helpful and caring. Beautiful lodge with lovely views. Beautiful weather too. Didn’t want to come home!
We are a family of 4 who stayed in the Dudden lodge which was an excellent accommodation which the photos don’t do justice. The lodge is very large with excellent facilities including under food heating and very comfortable beds as well as very clean. The family enjoyed the hot tub and the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly
The swimming pool was warm and clean and the boys enjoyed the pool table , drinks in the bar were not expensive and we enjoyed the move night and bingo in the bar.
Awesome picturesque place. Lots of walks and nice beaches near by. Perfect our third visit and we’ll be back again
A beautiful setting with clean well looked after lodges and great facilities. Friendly staff too. Highly recommend this place :)
spotlessly clean, spacious, comfy sofas with plenty of seating beautiful scenery would defiantly stay again. small warning loads of peacocks which i had never seen mentioned. I enjoyed seeing them but if your not a bird lover maybe have a rethink.
Great place. Staff AMAZING. Brockwood Hall had the best customer service in ages. Lodge really well stocked. Park could do with something for younger children. Site may benefit from a small shop, kids would have enjoyed a walk for an ice cream. Would definitely go back!
Fantastic location and lodge , really friendly staff will definitely book up again
Hi, we stayed in the Duddon Lodge, it was fantastic!
The hot tub being covered was a bonus!
Definitely return again soon.
This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals. Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area. Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos. At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed. Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.
Rydal Mount & Gardens are wonderfully situated between Lake Windermere and Rydal Water offering breathtaking scenery. The home of William Wordsworth from 1813 - 1850 the grand home is now lived in by the poets descendents but parts of the house and grounds are open to the public. Why not take a guided tour and see the rooms where many of the famous poems were written. The gardens are beautiful at all times of the year but in the summer offer a spectacular display of colour. There is also a gallery and a tearoom. Discounts are available for group bookings.
Happy Mount Park has attractions for the whole family including several play areas, a miniature railway, crazy golf, putting green and trampolines, there is also a paddling pool where the little ones can splash around in the summer and a café where the adults can relax with a drink. During the summer months and especially during school holidays live music can often be enjoyed.
Here at the Wildlife Oasis you can really get up close to the animals and experience a mix of exotic wildlife and hand son displays. See butterflies, birds and even bats flying around. You don't have to plan your visit according to weather either with the tropical hall and butterfly house undercover. Sunny days are ideal for some of the inhabitants however with the monkeys and Lemurs loving to sunbathe. The mission of Lakeland's Wildlife Oasis is to engender and foster an interest and appreciation of the natural world which, in our belief underpins wildlife conservation; and, where possible to contribute and encourage contribution to the conservation of wildlife and wild places. You know that you are helping with this mission if you choose to visit.
