Riverside Lodges Reviews

"Only thing I would change would be the mattress too soft but that's only my preference"
Andrew - Dec 2015
"This is our tenth year at Riverside sometimes twice a year. The small quiet site suits our needs. Rod the owner and his staff are always ready and willing to sort out any problem. A little gem in a stunning area. We will be back soon."
Ruth - Oct 2015
"All in all it is a very nice place and we had a great time whilst we were there. Lots of places locally for days out too."
David - Aug 2015
"Fantastic weekend! It was so relaxing and the hot tub was amazing. The lodge was clean and very spacious, it had everything we needed and more (including dvd player which came in useful on a rainy night). The bed and pillows were really comfortable. We would definately recommend it and we will be staying there again in the near future."
Julie - Apr 2015
"Fantastic would definitely go back :)"
Katie - Apr 2015
"We stayed in Cathedral Lodge- Amazing spacious lodge. Friendly staff, quiet surroundings but close to plenty of places to visit. Great clean hot tub.

Tub wasn't hot until second day but we were advised this before hand so no problem. After dark we saw some mice running around the decking but that's to be expected under decking.

Overall great place to book and worth every penny!"
Gavin - Apr 2015
"Everything was perfect had great weekend"
Amanda - Apr 2015
"Good location but lodge needed decorating."
Elizabeth - Apr 2015
"Excellent relaxing holiday"
David - Apr 2015
"Lovely and clean, nicely decorated, very cosy, pleasant and helpful staff and owner. No complaints."
Jane - Apr 2015
"The lodge was okay but ours needed some TLC. A sharp knife had its handle taped on and caused my husband to cut himself when it detached from the handle. The dishwasher didn't work and the lid of the hot tub didn't fit properly so blew off in windy weather. The response from the owner was less than we would have expected. No apology."
Georgina - Apr 2015
"A very spacious and comfortable lodge."
Richard - Mar 2015
"Excellent space in the minster lodge, very comfy bed. Would return again."
Jessica - Mar 2015
"Very spacious. ....Plenty of room for 6 Adults. .."
Joan - Mar 2015
"We will be telling all our friends."
Lynda - Mar 2015
"The lodge was fantastic. Microwave and oven took some getting use to, but we got there in the end. Very clean and tidy, bed comfy and furniture was really comfortable. Would stay in that lodge again."
Alan - Feb 2015
"Huge lodge, plenty of space for 6 people."
Sara - Feb 2015
"Just need some boat hooks in the bathroom and near the hot tub. Also need a bathroom mirror but apart from that everything else was lovely."
Natalie - Feb 2015
"Lovely lodge but needed some updating of fittings but really enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and relaxing but within easy reach of Ripon"
Lyndsey - Feb 2015
"Could feel a few bits on the floor and the Hoover didn't connect."
Brenda - Feb 2015
"Studley is the end lodge in the front row of 4 lodges and is the most secluded. Great location right on the river bank. Lodge and hot tub were warm and clean for our arrival"
Robert - Feb 2015
"Could not complain about anything. Clean and comfortable, hot tub available and ready for use on arrival. Big enough for two people - why would we need anything more?!"
Andrew - Jan 2015
"We had a lovely four night stay in the minster lodge a very warm welcome from Rod who seemed a very nice and helpful man. The lodge was great everything you needed and a nice walking distance from the wee town. Our only regret was only booking four nights instead of seven, we didn't want to leave!"
Samantha - Jan 2015
"Excellent accommodation. The lodge has everything you would need for your stay."
Gill - Jan 2015
"The only thing that disappointed us from the stay was there were several bulbs missing from the lights; something that is fairly inexpensive to replace if bought in bulk. Other than this minor hiccough, the accommodation was first rate, the support from the staff was fantastic and the stay was memorable. Thank you."
John - Dec 2014
"Roomy and comfortable lodge"
Janice - Dec 2014
"Amazing, we had a great weekend. The staff member who showed us to our lodge was amazing with our daughter. We felt very relaxed and comfortable here and will definitely be returning next year!"
Laura - Nov 2014
"Hot tub was perfect just the right temperature and very deep"
Jane - Oct 2014
"The lodge was lovely, very clean and nicely decorated. Very spacious for the two of us."
Lisa - Oct 2014
