About Hornsea Lakeside Lodges

The countryside location of Hornsea Lakeside Lodges is what really sets this park apart from the rest, and alongside the luxurious accommodation you will really feel that this is a holiday with a difference.  Hoseasons have added these lodges to their special Autograph lodge holiday range so you can be assured that the lodges have been hand picked for their quality. They would make a fantastic choice for special occasions.

If you like golf or fishing you will be in your element here with Hornsea Golf Club on the doorstep and a fully stocked fishing lake on the park itself.  The surrounding area is ideal for exploring with lovely sandy bays and breathtaking cliffs.  If you like to take it easy and indulge in some shopping you will find some designer outlets close by too.

The lodges themselves have been carefully designed and styled to create a luxurious and modern feel. With plenty of mod cons and a spacious interior you can enjoy contemporary living at it's best.

We love the Kingfisher Lodge for couples.  This luxury retreat sleeping 2 has a TV/DVD and ipod dock as well as a stunning bathroom with jacuzzi bath. The bedroom has a kingsize bed and the outdoor decking offers glorious views over the lake.  There is also the added bonus of a private outdoor hot tub.  Other great options include the Sandpiper Lodge which sleeps 6 and the Heron Lodge which sleeps 4.

Hornsea Lakeside Lodges Reviews

"It was very clean, pleasant and comfortable. A person Jacuzzi was so welcome. It had enough kitchen utensils and pots and plates. I, personally, would love firmer mattress, but it was fine for other family members. I would have love to have a laundry machine, but there was a laundromat in Hornsea. The lodges were well apart and we could not hear any noise from other lodges (in April). It was really nice to have general, recycle and glass recycle bins around the site. We really had a lovely relaxing week holiday."
Junko - Apr 2024
"The lodges are well past their best and need an up date."
Alan - Apr 2024

"Floors could have done with proper scrub. And leather settees could do with updating."
Diane - Mar 2024
"Excellent and spotlessly clean lodges. With everything needed for a home away from home stay.Surroundings lovely, peaceful and well looked after. Great fishing lakes on site.15 minutes walk into Hornsea and 10 minutes to Tesco superstore.Within and hour drive to York and 30 minutes to Withernsea and Beverley.Would highly recommend for a chill out break."
Helen - Mar 2024
"Some things do need a little bit of attention but overall good"
Gary - Mar 2024
"A few cobwebs on lamps and strong smell of smoke which you get used to but the cabins do have log burners"
Robert murray - Mar 2024
"Fab weekend lodge had few issues but staff did best to resolve quickly"

"Stunning, did not want to leave.Comfortable cozy and modern.Appliances great, fully fitted kitchenVery modern."
Sharon - Feb 2024
"Lovely surroundings and lovely lodge, however the lodge was quite dirty, lots of cobwebs, dust and the counters and table didnt look like they had even been wiped. Also upon arriving it said we would get complimentary washing up liquid and tea towel (we received neither). The pans listed on the wall were not all there. However we loved the location and the lodge itself but it just isnt the cleanest unfortunately."
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"Lovely girls weekend away, Lots of space in the lodge for 10. Lovely area surrounding the lodge & close to the town."
Kelly - Jan 2024
"Fantastic stay. I have stayed on this site 6 times now and I. Many sized lodges and have always been extremely happy."
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"Overall we had a fantastic stay at Oystercatch lodge. We did have a couple of complaints during our stay but they were addressed very promptly by the staff, who did their best to rectify the situation, which is really great, as they went above and beyond to make sure everything was as it should be. Sadly our logburner wasn't working correctly whilst there which was a shame, as that was something we were really looking forward to for our cosy Christmas break away. Also would have been great if they had provided new towels during the stay, as we stayed for 7 days, and with use of the hot tub and showers etc, the towels were a little saturated by the end"
INDIA - Jan 2024
"Ive been 4 times to this exact lodge in 4 or 5 years and no refurbishments have been made. This lodge sadly is now very tired and not worth the money. With broken fixtures and fittings (for example a window that was difficult to close and keep road noise out, and a blind that was permanently lowered due to being broken but damaged sufficiently to let light in) its needless to say that I didnt sleep well and my birthday break was far from what I expected. Kitchen drawers are aged and damaged so appear grubby and even the glasses dont match. I only used the hot tub twice for short periods as that felt slimy to the touch in places. On night one, I cut my foot on a tiny piece of broken glass, and even the first aid kit contents were inadequate.Such a shame as Ive always loved these lodges to hideaway for my winter birthday, but this time I almost nearly came home early. I enjoy the area though, and its still got some good features. The log burner was fabulous and the bathrooms are kept very clean. Still love the roll top bath in the bedroom and think if it wasnt for this, the ratings this time may have been even lower. Sorry feel bad saying this but this is the first time Ive thought that I wouldnt actually return. The chap on reception was lovely though, but I didnt have the heart to complain to him. They are trying to improve things, as work was going on in one of the other lodges, but sadly I feel that the price for my lodge shouldve reflected its current tatty condition."
Kaz - Jan 2024
"Loved Hornsea Lakes, fabulous lodge, lovely weather, warm and welcoming."
Julie - Jan 2024
"Absolutely immaculate lodge with everything needed for a relaxing few days ...Hot tub was well maintained would definitely book again in future x"
LYN THOMPSON - Jan 2024
"Spent a week over Xmas with family in the Sandpiper Lodge. The log cabin was very clean on arrival and had all the facilities needed for self catering. The 3 double bedrooms all with en-suites were fantastic and included lots of storage. We would definitely recommend to anybody to stay here and we will be coming back to stay again. The staff in reception were very helpful and always on hand if needed."
Haley - Jan 2024
"The break away itself was good. Upon arrival we had no electrics for the first hour and then no hot tub until our second day due to a problem with the hot tub. We booked this lodge for new year which was a great atmosphere."
Kimberley - Jan 2024
"The lodges are lovely but we found alot of dirt under sofa and buts of toys, wrappers left from precious tennents. Its a lovely site but could do with maybe a bar/restaurant onsite."
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"Location was beautiful, very relaxing and pretty. Staff were very friendly on arrival and check out. However Ive got to agree with other reviews, the lodge I stayed in really needed some work doing on it. It was worn and tired. It also needed a really good clean which there is no excuse for. Wouldnt describe as luxury at all which is a shame as previously these lodges were beautiful."
Verified Guest - Dec 2023
"Blind on shower/ bath night time showering can be seen even through frosted glass."
Jane - Dec 2023
"Not premium any more. A bit of TLC is needed throughout which is a shame as otherwise it would you great"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Lovely surroundings, peaceful area. Great having the hot tub and loved the two big baths as well. The log burner was a welcome addition"
Sarah - Nov 2023
"Curtains in the bedroom would help with a more restful sleep"
Deborah - Nov 2023
"Excellent place if youre wanting to get away from all the stress of mundane life Peace and quiet in abundance Hornsea and Bridlington just a short drive Supermarket just up the road Bus stop just outside of grounds Have been several times and will definitely be going back ????"
Sue - Nov 2023
"Visited Hornsea lakeside lodges for a few years now but feel that the lodge , we stayed in no. 2 was very run down and in need of some attention . We had a leak in the toilet in downstairs bathroom. Flooding the bathroom, had to use towels to soak up the water ! Kitchen very basic and shabby . Settee had holes in ! Outdoor decking had holes in and looked very distressed . Hot tub lid all ripped . And tub not very warm . Still had a nice relaxing stay with family but a shame when you lay all that money . It just looked shabby and tired !! Clean but worn !"
Nicola Drinkell - Nov 2023
"Love these lodges, which is why we come back year after year."
