Loch Shuna
Set in an idyllic sheltered position in the centre of the Island of Buidhe the location of these lodges could hardly be better. Surrounded by spectacular scenery, shimmering clear waters and stunning unspoilt islands - Loch Shuna is a dream come true for nature lovers as well as those who enjoy outdoor pursuits.
A causeway connects the island to the mainland village of Craobh Haven so although the lodges are very peaceful they are not totally isolated. The village offers a selection of shops, a pub, restaurant and marina where you can enjoy fantastic local food and soak up the friendly atmosphere.
The one bedroom Morning Lodge is perfect for couples and has a sauna and a king-size four poster bed. The Discovery Lodge is luxurious and a good choice for small families with two bedrooms and a patio and lawn area with outdoor hot tub. Fun Days Out in Argyll

M&D's, Scotland's Family Theme Park is a "must do" day out if you are in the Strathclyde region. The fun attraction is set within 20 acres of beautiful Country Park and offers rides, shows and activities for the whole family to enjoy. Besides the outdoor rides the site is also home to Amazonia - Scotland's only indoor Tropical Rainforest where visitors can meet loads of exotic animals. There is also a large indoor soft play area and an amazing glow in the dark bowling alley, so plenty to do if the weather is bad. During December Scotland's largest Grotto with animated Christmas scenes can also be enjoyed.

The Castle of Mey Animal Centre - offers a fun experience for children and adults alike. The centre aims to be educational too, teaching children about the natural habitats of rare animals and offering supervised hands on contact with some of the more friendly residents. Among the animals visitors will meet are unusual and rare Sheep breeds, docile Donkeys, agile Alpine Goats, adorable Lambs and an incubator with Baby Chicks. The Tea Room has an excellent reputation locally and serves very tasty salads, sandwiches and home cooked meals.
