Gwel An Mor
Gwel an Mor translates as 'view of the sea' and this name is very fitting given the breathtaking views from the site. Perched high on a hilltop just a few minutes from the beach, this fantastic setting will appeal to families and couples alike. The site has outstanding facilities and was voted one of the top ten coastal holidays by the Guardian in 2008.
Onsite guests can enjoy use of a lovely heated indoor heated swimming pool together with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. There is also a beauty therapy suite offering a range of traditional and more holistic treatments. Outside you can enjoy the putting green or a game of croquet. On an evening the elegant restaurant serves fresh local food while close by the fishing village of Portreath offers a larger choice of places to eat.
There's plenty to see and do in the area too. Whether you prefer surfing, building sandcastles or simply admiring the breathtaking views from the coastal path - Gwel an Mor is a great place to relax and unwind.
There are five types of lodge at Gwel an Mor, so there is bound to be something to suit your needs. The Lowena are luxury terraced lodges with two bedrooms and large kitchen/ dining areas with sea views. The Tregar VIP lodges are luxurious two storey lodges with stylish interiors and three bedrooms as well as extras including wood burning stove, bath robes and private hot tubs.

Fun Days Out in North Cornwall

Paradise Park was once juts a tropical bird garden, but has since been expanded to offer a fantastic day out for the whole family. The site has a Funfarm area where children can get up close with some cute and fluffy creatures and also has a wildlife area where the animals include adorable Otters and Native Red Squirrels. Other attractions include the beautiful Victorian Walled Garden which has some stunning floral displays. The most recent addition to the site is the large indoor play barn which is ideal on rainy days. Special discount vouchers are available for October Half Term.

Adrenaline Quarry is the place to head for adults and teenagers and children looking for adrenaline boosting activities. The site boasts the largest and longest Zip wire in the country. Other activities available include Go Karting and the thrilling Coaststeering - Climbing cliffs and jumping in to the sea! All ages and skill levels are catered for and safety is top priority. Zip Wire rides start from £12.50 While Coaststeering costs £30.00.
