The interiors are full of natural light and open plan in design, with the lovely feature of a wood burning stove to make your stay extra cosy.  Outside mature woods combine with lush green countryside and even an organic farm with farm animals including sheep, horses and llamas.  There's a real feeling of being a million miles away.

The lodges have outside decking areas, providing a great place to kick back and take in the views, some over the shimmering pond or river.  And of course each lodge has a private bubbling hot tub so you can unwind in style.

For the more active you could get out and explore with some wonderful trails and walks on the doorstep. The charming market towns of Crewkerne and Chard are in this area, ideal for days out and full of gorgeous gift shops, excellent restaurants serving locally sourced food and even a number of historic sites to visit.

Further afield is the picture postcard city of Exeter - fantastic for shopping or taking in a river cruise.  The amazing 13th century cathedral is also a draw for visitors to this area.

Accommodation includes the fabulous Racing Retreat Lodge which sleeps 2, ideal for romantic breaks.  The Waters Edge Lodge is also an excellent choice with a bespoke interior, covered outdoor hot tub and spacious decking area.  This lodge sleeps up to 4.

Peckmoor Farm Lodges Reviews

"Thank you. We were looking for luxury and seclusion and thats exactly what we got. Owners helped make a big birthday special and always replied promptly."
Sarah - Aug 2020
"We stayed in Treetops - which is a lovely lodge in a peaceful location ideal for exploring. The owners were very welcoming but not intrusive, we especially appreciated the homemade cup cakes and eggs on arrival.

Ideal for our dog too as the lodge was fenced off so didn't have to worry about her wandering off.

Would definately recommend for a relaxing stay in a countryside setting."
Michelle - Aug 2020
"he lodge was immaculate and as we had someone that was terminally ill with cancer this was very important to us with Covid The surroundings were amazing and peaceful but within 40 minutes of all tourist attractions and less for some beautiful gardens and walks I cannot rate the lodges high enough and have stayed in many The owner Jeremy was delightful , helpful, courteous and left all alone to their privacy but there if needed The interiors were tastefully decorated , the kitchen superbly stocked with utensils - the hot tub was amazing You wont be disappointed Now struggling to find something as good elsewhere for the next adventure"

Lodge exceeded our expectations, with everything we needed to ensure our stay was super comfortable. Owners were excellent and easily accessible if required. Very dog friendly place, with plenty of places to walk. Very highly recommended, definitely on our return list."

"A fantastic rural retreat managed by a lovely team. The lodge was very well appointed and the fenced area outside meant our 14 month old black lab could potter about without us worrying if he had got any of the ducks! Very handy for the Jurassic coast. Would thoroughly recommend it."
Terry - Jul 2022
"Had a fantastic stay here before starting treatment. Such a wonderful beauty spot and so tranquil. We brought our 1 year old dog, who loved the welcoming bowl of water and bonio the owners left for her. It was nearly as big as her head, but she managed to eat it all ?. We are definitely going to book again next year, but this time for a week - 4 nights were not long enough ! The lodge was perfect for 2 of us, and Lexi, everything you needed was there, and the beaches are about 1/2 hour drive away. Again, Lexi loved her first time on the beach. The hot tub was fantastic and was used every day !! We probably picked the best week as was lovely and warm, but cool at night. Thanks again for a wonderful break !"

"Two hoots has a superb peaceful location not overlooked by any other lodges ,The field you are in has sheep in but our dog just ignored them ,There is a three foot fence running around the lodge ,The inside is lovely two double bedrooms with Tv and en-suite ,one has a bath with shower over it the other has a lovely Walk in shower plenty off hot water .The lounge and kitchen are open plan very spacious with all you require including washing machine ,Crewkerne is 10 mins drive away with supermarkets etc. There is a massive double field that your dog is allowed off the lead and the river Axe is 15 mins walk if your dog would like to cool down. The owners has created beautiful lodges with all you require in a very peaceful location unless you don’t like sheep cows and some beautiful horses. Overall fully recommended Thank you for our week"

"Peckmoor Farm Lodges are set in a beautiful part of the country with easy access to Coast & Country surrounded by nature and very peaceful. A great getaway."
Stuart - Jul 2022
"Such a lovely place to get away and relax. Slightly off the beaten track down one of the famously narrow roads of the area but only a few minutes from the town of Crewkerne. It was exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries. Not far from the sea and beautiful coastal walks offering amazing views. We also enjoyed some lovely evening walks at the farm too. A nice touch to find cupcakes welcoming us to the lodge and fresh eggs from the farm hens."
Array - Jul 2022
"Total relaxation. Private lodges in a field of sheep. No phone signal. Great. Fresh eggs and homemade cakes left out for arrival. Delicious."
TLB - Jul 2022
"We went last year and loved it so much had to go again this year. Such a beautiful place, lovely staff and people - just wonderful ?"
