For a relaxing lodge break in Wales, Heartsease Lodges are highly recommended. The luxurious lodges offer a tranquil base for a holiday with a stunning location, surrounded by spectacular scenery. Although peaceful the lodges are not too isolated and the charming spa town of Llandrindod Wells is just a few minutes away.
This region is one of outstanding natural beauty and there are also many family friendly attractions including the beautiful Powis Castle and gardens. Outdoor pursuits are plentiful with superb fishing, mountain biking and pony trekking all available nearby. Bird watching is also popular here. Cardigan Bay with its famous dolphin spotting boat trips is also easily accessible and well worth a visit.
Bluebell lodges with hot tubs were brand new in 2010 and offer spacious and luxurious accommodation. The lodges sleep 4 and have one double and one twin bedroom. The kitchens are well equipped for self catering and guests can enjoy alfresco dining on the terrace with gorgeous views. The hot tub is the perfect place to chill out after a day of exploring.

Fun Days Out in Powys

Locally renowned for the Sheep Steeple chasing and daily goat races this is a really unique family attraction that the kids will love. You can really get hands on with the farm animals with the animal handling sessions and you can have a go at teaching the parrots to talk! The crazy craft cabin will keep even the most creative entertained with pottery and painting amongst other things. When you are in need of a rest head for the The Hungry Shepherd Tea Room where you can enjoy a bite to eat and children can burn even more energy in the indoor play area.

This National Trust site is one of the finest in Wales. The stunning castle was once a medieval fortress and has been remodelled several times over the last 400 years. The Great Hall is home to some amazing collections of paintings as well as sculptures and tapestries. The gardens are world famous with stunning areas of French and Italian style as well as a gorgeous orangery. Children's activities can be enjoyed during school holidays and on special occasions such as Halloween and Christmas.
