Our children booked this as a surprise break for our anniversary. We stayed in Cupid's lodge. It was absolutely beautiful, stunning chandeliers and decor and the hot tub wassomething else! Can't wait to go back again!

Dont think about it book you wont regret it. Couldnt rate the restaurant it wasnt open when we went over Christmas.

Bed was comfy. Stain on the bedding. Needed to hoover under the bed as lots of dust/dirt.
Toilet was lose on the wall fixture.
Skirting board behind toilet/next to shower was rotten and needed replacing.
Seemed to have been an issue with bathroom drainage as sink/bath/shower took a while to empty.
Bath shower head clip was broken so this had to be hung round the taps.
Water temperature very hit and miss.
Light switches that were dimmers but didn't dim/had no turning fixture.
Fully equipped kitchen which isn't documented enough - this is a vey rare thing to find so market this more!
Useful to have a washing machine and dryer, even for a short stay.
Liked the waste/recycling bins, as you usually only have a household waste option.
Didn't use the sauna unfortunately.
We arrived around 4pm in the winter so it was dark, would have been nice to arrive to an outside light on. The steps were very slippy, and I dropped the key which took a while to find in the dark.
Super lovely relaxing place. My only negative comments would be the wi fi and the restaurant closing but we managed.
Fabulous relaxing few days.
We were upgraded to a Kingham Lodge, absolutely gorgeous inside and very nicely furnished.

The lodge itself (cupid no.30) can't be faulted. A late November stay was risky, but the heating is fantastic and the hot tub was used every evening. We cooked on two nights and the kitchen is well equipped, there's plenty of living/dining space, a small hallway to leave muddy boats and coats, gorgeous bedroom with a dressing room complete with sauna!!! the bathroom is massive.
Just don't forget washing up liquid like we did!
The lodge is well equipped and spacious. We were provided with all we need to enjoy our stay here. However, it would have been helpful if washing up liquid had been provided. Beds and sofa's were comfortable and the whole lodge was clean.

Anyone looking for a peaceful relaxing break, you wont be disappointed will definitely coming back.
One of the best lodges we have stayed in. Location was perfect for exploring the Cotswolds and the lodge was immaculate, excellent layout, everything you need. The staff were friendly and helpful, would definitely book again.
We had a fantastic relaxing break away. The lodge was amazing & we loved the hot tub. Would most defiantly come back to stay again.
Lovely relaxing holiday, friendly staff, facilities in lodge were great and cleanliness was brilliant. We loved it and the hot tub was one of the best we’ve been in. We spent Christmas here and we were warm and cosy and cooking a full dinner here was no problem at all. I’d recommend it and would love to stay here again.
Fantastic pre xmas break, great location and very well equiped and comfortable lodges.
Made extra special with the heavy snowfall. Staff were efficeient and friendly, even came to call on all the lodges to make sure we were warm and had enough toilet rolls!
Shame the restaurant has gone 👎may put us off next time even though we love this place
A bit of advice... If you take a taxi at night to one of the local villages make sure you book a return journey. There are very few taxi drivers around and if it wasn't for a very kind Landlord at one of the pubs we would have been stranded.
My husband booked this as a birthday present for 4 nights. Everyday was amazing absolutely loved the lodge it was clean and hot tub was fantastic. It was a perfect little break. We will definitely be booking again.
Lovely clean and relaxing
Very pleasant experience.
Beautiful surroundings and local towns.
Had a few issues that we noted on leaving regarding the general cleanliness and decor/upkeep of the lodge, but nothing that affected our stay. Although they definitely need to invest in some softer toilet tissue! The lodges are fairly close which was a concern when wanting to use the hot tub, but this is not an issue at all, felt very private and the fog made this even more so.
Staff very friendly and provided assistance when we required it. Nice touch with the complimentary arrival drinks.
I think that the discounted price that we paid for a last minute booking was okay value, however, I don't think I would have paid full price (as I considered this very expensive for what it is).

The little ones will love coming to see the farm animals including pigs, cows and lambs. The meet the animals session takes place every day and includes handling the animals, walking the goats, feeding the pigs and cows and egg collecting. Look out for special seasonal events throughout the year such as the Halloween Party, Lambing and children's workshops. The latest news from the farm is that they have some Saddleback piglets and Speckledy chicks arriving shortly.
