A great short break.
Great place to stay lovely caravan the bed in the main bedroom was a bit too bouncy for me but other than that excellent
The holidaywas lovely,it was for my mums 80th.when we arrived the lady on reception (who was really lovely) put flowers and a card in the caravan.yes they are building it up,and yiu take the weather,! but overall lobely.we booked to go again in October.
We love Northumberland it was a good quiet site and good base to get to places as you were next to the A1.
This year we had decided to sacrifice the kids clubs/entertainment for the spa. It did not disappoint. The spa however could have done with a step to allow easier access.
Ideal location to explore the surrounding area and perfectly quiet.
Our caravan was clean although lacked a few essentials including a veg peeler, hooks to hang towels. Also felt that having 3 young children we were right next to the burn (which we knew about) but there was no fence. It got very high due to the rain.
Ironically our caravan was named Ruby which is the name of our daughter.
Great see above comments.

Clean and very comfortable caravan situated by a small beck. Only let down was the lack of a microwave and limited crockery. Only three beakers and no teapot or milk jug in a caravan for four not ideal. Outside furniture rather old but enjoyed sitting out catching the evening sun. Would come back again. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The caravan was very clean, staff very helpful and location great for a quiet getaway. Would definitely recommend!
The only thing we found that could have been better is that the hot tub was not hot enough for our arrival and we had little pans and utensils for cooking. Although we did mention this upon leaving and the manager did advise that he is looking to address these issues due to him being new to the post.
Lovely caravan; very helpful staff; nice pirate ship & zip wire. Peaceful site; great location to nearby attractions
What an absolute delight this place is! We arrived late as staff had kindly warmed the caravan up for us and waiting with the door open. The kids absolutely loved it, cracking location and park facilities superb!
Only downside there was no leaflets about local things to do in the caravan, but other than that absolutely superb! I’ve recommended to everyone I know and we will be back! Thank you
Stayed with my family. Was running late, the lady on the phone was friendly and receptive, she put the heating on and was there when called. Very helpful staff, neat and tidy.
Beautiful caravan very clean
A beautiful location my only criticism was the internet service for which I paid twice for, I was assured I would be re-imbursed but this has not been forthcoming, I wouldn't mind but for 2 of the days we had no connection at all.
Lovely peaceful place to stay. Well positioned for getting around Northumberland. Only difficulty is turning right onto the busy A1. That took a while! Really happy with the accommodation.
Cragside House and Gardens (National Trust) are a popular Northumberland attraction with a beautiful stately home and gorgeous grounds to explore. The rhododendron labyrinth is a unique and fun addition to the grounds and there is also an adventure playground where children can let of steam. It is the stunning scenery that attracts most of the visitors though with many bringing a picnic for a relaxing family day out. The house itself hosts exhibits which change regularly. World of the Water Wizard is currently on display.
Alnwick Castle and Gardens today are perhaps best known for their roles as Hogwarts in Harry Potter movies but have for many years been a family favourite attraction in Northumberland. The beautiful medieval castle is open to the public and during school holidays and at Christmas and Halloween a range of activities can be enjoyed including Santa's Workshop, a Pumpkin Parade, Spell Making Lessons and Owl and Bird of Prey Flying.
Go Ape! has really taken off and become one of the most popular attractions in the UK. The Northumberland course is set in the stunning grounds of Matfin Hall. Described as a high wire forest adventure this really is one for the more daring as the course takes place right up in the tree tops. Giant tree top obstacle courses include ladders, bridges, tunnels and some of the country's best zip lines. You will be provided with all safety equipment and training on site.
