About Wighill Manor Lodges

For a luxurious lodge holiday then we highly recommend Wighill Manor Lodges which are a new addition to the lodges with hot tubs range. A real rural retreat in lovely Yorkshire you can enjoy many outdoor activities and fantastic walks right on the doorstep.

The Chestnut Lodge is a popular choice sleeping up to 6 adults.  With a stylish interior, master double bedroom with en suite shower room and two twin bedrooms this lodge would suit families or couples. The outdoor hot tub positioned on the private decking area provides the ideal place to relax and really pamper yourself. With double glazing and central heating it's a cosy retreat all year round.

For couples the Willow Lodge is ideal.  This is a superb contemporary lodge with a luxury en suite bathroom with a double ended bath.  The living area and double bedroom are well designed and decorated to a high standard. The Willow Lodge also enjoys a private outdoor hot tub.

Last but not least the Hawthorne Lodge sleeps 4 and is just as stylish and well designed as the other lodges on this site.  With one master double bedroom and a twin room this lodge would be most suited to families.  The secluded decking area is home to an outdoor hot tub and as with the other lodges there is double glazing and central heating.

All of the lodges could be described as modern and enjoy mod cons including flatscreen TV/DVD, freeview and well equipped kitchen with microwave.

If you like to get out and explore the local area has much to offer.  Some enjoyable days out include the York Dungeon and York Races both of which are within easy reach of Wighill Manor Lodges.  For families Monk Park Farm is well worth a visit in Bagby around 21 miles from the lodges.  Here you will find an adventure playground, farm and nature trail among other things.

Laura - Aug 2020
"The only reason value for money is low on the score is because of the check in and departure time during coronavirus, but overall enjoyed the holiday and seemed to be run by friendly people. Thanks for the great weekend."

"We had an amazing holiday at Wighill Manor Lodges. My husband, myself and my 8-year-old son stayed in the Hawthorne Lodge and absolutely loved it. The layout of the lodge was well thought out and had everything we needed for our mid-week stay. We spent every night relaxing in the hot tub. (There are hedgerows between the decks of the lodges for added privacy when using the hot tub.) Four out of the five lodges were booked but wouldn't have known it. It was so quiet, peaceful and the views were beautiful. We would definitely return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wighill Manor Lodge to anyone."

Rebecca - Aug 2019
"Fantastic location and lodge."
Tracy - Jul 2019
"Great hosts, fab lodge, tranquil setting. Local villages and York City Centre are great.

Speed limits on roads around the area are a nightmare - and very confusing, with what appears to be money making speed cameras - on random bits of road. that have been reduced to 30 mph for no reason, no street lamps, no houses

I would love to go back to this Lodge but after getting 2 speeding tickets - I wont return to this area ."
Paula - Jun 2019
"Highly recommended! Couldn't have asked for a more relaxing getaway!"
Katie - Jun 2019
"Very comfortable lodges - with everything you need - and more!

Peaceful setting overlooking meadows, but only a short distance from York

Warm welcome from Melanie (the owner) who also provided lots of useful information about the surrounding area"
Debbie - Jun 2019
"Fabulous couldnt ask for anything more.
Back to work feeling totally stress free, batteries recharged.
Very much needed.
Will definitely be revisiting in the near future. "
Julie - May 2019
"Best ever will return next year."
Gail - May 2019
"Great holiday I hope we get to come back and maybe visit Stockeld Park when it reopens!"
Christine - May 2019
