About Herons Brook Retreat Lodges

Golf lovers take note! Amidst the tranquil woodland and the luxury lodge accommodation, Herons Brook Retreat Lodges has its very own on-site 18 hole golf course! It’s also close to Narberth, which has some lovely street cafes and a good selection of shops – plus a vineyard where you can watch the wine-making process and sample some fine Welsh wine. The Pembrokeshire coast is stunning and there are a number of excellent beaches within a very short distance.

The lodges are beautifully presented and offer a real touch of luxury. We’ve already mentioned the 18 hole golf course but there is also a wealth of woodland where you could take a gentle evening walk before retiring to your private hot tub. The park has a coffee shop with Wi-Fi access and Herons Brook Lodges is the perfect base from which to explore west Wales.

We think Hornbeam Lodge with its contemporary styled living space and spacious lounge that leads out to its own private verandah with hot tub is just stunning. It sleeps up to four people and has a double bedroom with ensuite shower and a twin room. Fully double glazed and centrally heated, Hornbeam Lodge is luxurious and modern.

The Pembrokeshire coast has miles of sandy beaches, rugged cliffs and great waves, perfect for surfing. The seaside town of Tenby is only few miles away where there is lots to see and do, such as visit the Dinosaur Experience or head to Heatherton World of Activities for paintballing and indoor bowls. Nearby Canaston Wood has one of Wales’ largest indoor water parks, great fun for both children and adults!

Tracy - Jul 2022

Philip - Jul 2022
"The Harrington lodge was fantastic, in lovely surroundings and the staff were very helpful with local knowledge. We will definitely return again."
Michael - Jul 2022
"Lovely lodge that was spotlessly clean, the whole site is very well maintained. We were a little worried about being on a golf course and lots of golfers wondering around but that didn’t get too busy. Narberth is a nice little town with all the amenities you need however they do tend to be a little pricey. Tenby and Saundersfoot are well worth a visit."
Julie - Jul 2022
"Very nice and peacful"
Jonathan - Jul 2022
"Beautiful lodges so peaceful couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing time. The golf course whilst challenging was not kept very well and I don’t feel guests staying on the site should be expected to pay for the use of"

Louise - Oct 2019
"Lovely relaxing Autumn break"
Linda - Oct 2019
"Our 2nd fortnight stay at this Lodge, definite change in level of upkeep since last year. Stains and dust on blinds in dining area and kitchen area, slash in kitchen cupboard door, crack in fridge interior, dusty bed side tables, no mattress protector, stains on kitchen ceiling. There had been a recent change of ownership so would be a shame to see further decline."
Glenda - Oct 2019
"Just wish the main bedroom had a tv in it on the wall. Otherwise had a lovely stay thank you."
Gary - Oct 2019

"Wonderful weekend break in beautiful country location. Very quiet and peaceful, and central for visiting surrounding area."
Linda - Sep 2019
"Overall an excellent experience, the only drawback was the lack of power points. There were none close to any mirror for use when drying/styling hair"
Lesley - Sep 2019
"The site was very peacful and relaxing, the management were very helpful with a couple of problems we had, they did their best to resolve them."
Janet - Sep 2019
"Please consider replacing the sofa with a proper settee and chair. Too low and had difficulties getting up"
Howard - Sep 2019
"The lodge is in a very nice position overlooking the golf course. We did see the odd golfer passing by but other than that very private. Wifi is good. The beds are comfortable. Would have liked a better shower."
Sue - Jul 2019
"We had a lovely, comfortable holiday. The lodge interior was modern and well layed out. Unfortunately there was no bbq, and our disposeable bbq had to be used on some concrete slabs out the front where we park our cars, which was a dusty chipping car park, not really ideal. There was a washing machine, dishwasher, hoover, iron and plenty of crockery and utensils. Incase of rainy days there were a supply of books and dvds and also a few board games. Overall a well equipped lodge, in a beautiful setting."
Joanna - Jul 2019
"We love this break as well play golf love hot tub and relaxing in our lodge can't beat the place"
Jackie - Jul 2019
"Only one minor drawback was the settee in the lounge was a little worse fro wear and could be due for replacement but overall the facilities in the lodge were superb. Will certainly come back again"
Roger - Jun 2019
"Fab lodge in lovely quiet surrounding with hot tub very clean a fab facilities lots of walks an wild life fab if you want to play golf"
Alan - Jun 2019
