Situated deep within the unspoilt countryside of Shropshire, this exclusive and peaceful site provides an idyllic rural retreat. We recommend Woodland Park Lodges to families looking for somewhere to relax and couples seeking a romantic escape.

The site is located just a few minutes from the charming lakeside town of Ellesmere. Here visitors will find a selection of shops, cafes and pubs. Shropshire is considered to be the green heart of England and walking and cycling are excellent ways to explore. Snowdonia National Park is also within reach offering easy access to numerous outdoor pursuits. Back onsite there is an adventure playground for children and a clubhouse.

There are several types of lodge to choose from, but the VIP lodges are the ones to go for if a private hot tub is desirable. Cedar Lodge VIP and Elm Lodge VIP both sleep 6 and are perfect for families or groups. Oak Lodge VIP sleep 8 and are a good option for larger parties as they are very spacious. All lodges are very well equipped for self catering and have all the mod cons including flat screen TVs. Many of the lodges have beautiful woodland views from the hot tubs.

Our Top Tip
"Discover Snowdonia National Park on foot or cycle, the scenery is stunning."

Perfect size lodge with private facilities for all the adults. Plenty of space to spread out for eating and relaxing in the evening. We didn't use the BBQ or outside eating area but it was available for use.

A very enjoyable stay, with my family, 5 adults plus our 1 year old grandson. It was a chill weekend we enjoyed a well equipped and spacious log cabin. Hot tub was a big attraction, for the adults. We had a 3 night stay Friday until Monday. I forgot to pack my charger for my iPad and the very nice lady on reception, kindly posted it out to me, received in a couple of days. We would definitely stay again and high recommended.
Jeni
Our 3rd stay for a long weekend at 3 different lodges. Perfect location quiet private get away. Beautiful lodges and fantastic hot tubs. I will definitely be back.
Roger
A fantastic holiday we had in March 2018. The cabin was immaculate and a nice welcome from the staff at the park. Jacuzzi was great and was used every day, nice looking out at the trees and stars in the night time whilst lovely and warm in the hot tub. Nice walks straight from the lodges and only 10 mins drive from Ellesmere and Colemere, both have nice walks around them. Will definitely be returning, we had a very relaxing and peaceful break.
Laura
Great lodge, fully equipped and lots of room for a family of 5. The hot tub was a great addition.

Anne
Lovely lodge in a peaceful woodland location. Cosy and comfortable with a fantastic hot tub. Lovely woodland walks, great if you're looking for some relaxation away from it all. The family had a great time here, we will definitely return.
Katy
We had a lovely break at our woodland lodge. The hot tub was amazing and the setting was beautiful. The lodge was modern and comfortable the only reason I didn’t give this 10 was the bathroom. If felt like an afterthought to the rest of the lodge. I would definitely recommend holidaying here though.
