Great location and lovely staff. The apartments are well equipped.

The Lodge was very comfy, lots of space, plenty of towels, a hairdryer, iron and board, 'proper' coffee and a cafetiere all the crockery, cutlery and utensils you could need, the oven and microwave worked very well (once we worked out how, could have done with some instructions but did not take long to sort) There were a couple of small old stains on the upholstery but could see that they had cleaned them as much as they could. The lodge also had very comfy outside furniture on the patio with cushions stored in the lodge. The bed was very comfortable and there was also a dressing area with lots of space for putting away your things. Did not use the washing machine or dishwasher but was good to know they were there. Every thing was of good quality and added to the feel of luxury. Great place to chill.

Great Location with great views, we stayed in number 15 really nice lodge however let down by poor cleaning and numerous small faults that should have been done before our arrival. After reporting staff were very helpful and had the lodge recleaned the next day and repairs made the same day, there is room for improvement especially with checking lodges before check in time and also on morning of checkout we were awoken by staff on the lodge decking at 7.15am dropping boxes off ready to restock the lodge for the next occupants this I felt was not acceptable and could easily be done after we had checked out at 10am.

The only reason I marked the accommodation down slightly was because the hot water, exspecially the showers could not be controlled and was extremely hot on every shower.

Date of stay: 31st May 2019
Stayed in lodge 1 which was lovely. Very clean, plenty storage and good view/ but bit of Blencathra as advertised.
On arrival the staff were ok, but not as helpful and friendly as those over at Keswick Reach. That said we discovered the kettle didnt work and shower head was very broken in the en-suite, once reported they were sorted same day. A bit odd though that cleaners hasnt spotted the broken shower head as when you turned it on it sprayed over the screen and everywhere! The kettle problem was resolved by moving to a different sicket.
Hot tub was lovely. The site is great but last time we were there there was a playground which has now gone, that seems a shame. Yes it is a bit further out than other sites but that doesnt really bother me driving.
Would definitely go back

Berrier 3 was truly "a home from home" for us. There was everything we needed for a family weekend away (apart from the weather)! The bedrooms had plenty of storage and the beds were super comfy .The bathrooms were styled beautifully. The kitchen was well- equipped and the living area was very comfortable.

The Lodge was out of this world, a massive wow factor, comfy and spacious, everything there what you could wish for, didn't want to leave. :-(
S
Fantastic lodge- clean, warm and comfortable. Have stayed here for many years but certainly feel that the current overhaul has really improved our experience.
Frances
I would have preferred to find hand soap and a towel in the toilet cubicle, rather than being provided with miniature toiletries and a rubber duck. Also, I thought the quality of the toilet tissue could have been better.
