Redwell Lakes Lodges will appeal to anyone looking for a tranquil and relaxing holiday.  The setting is fabulous - in a private valley - and surrounded by green countryside.  The lodges themselves provide a lovely base exploring this area of Lancashire, and after a busy day exploring you can return to relax in your own private hot tub!

Activities at this park include fishing with access to tranquil fishing lakes, and there is also rambling and cycling on the doorstep.  The historic town of Lancaster is near Redwell Lakes Lodges and makes a great day out.

The lodges themselves have open plan living and lake views, not forgetting the private outdoor hot tubs.  We love the Mallard Lodge which has two bedrooms and a family bathroom.  The open plan living area in this lodge is spacious and there is a cosy lounge area too.  The outdoor decking and lake views mean you can make the most of the gorgeous surroundings.

Fantastic days out await in this area including White Scar Cave in Ingleton just 10 miles from the lodges.  This is the longest show cave in Britain with steams and waterfalls galore.

We loved this lodge, it has to be one of the best we have ever stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could ever want. The owners were just lovely and so helpful and the welcome basket was a kind gesture, especially the sweets for my daughter, how thoughtful.
The hot tub was amazing and was checked every day. The location of the lodge was perfect, we visited Blackpool and the lakes and other various local places.
Overall, we would 100% definitely stay here again, we just loved everything about it.

Fantastic few days, lodge was lovely hot tub amazing and very kind & helpful owners, we will definitely be back
Beautiful lodge in lovely location. Owners are very friendly and helpful. This was our second visit and we will certainly return.
Excellent time again with my family! No WiFi, family bonding - love it!!
Absolutely amazing place to stay. The owners were extremely accommodating and attentive to our needs. The facilities were beyond expectations and the area beautiful. The cleanliness was faultless. We would love to stay again. I also left my coat and it was posted to me within 2 days. Thank you redwell
Lovely clean and modern lodge. Hot tub was spacious. Only thing that could have improved the stay was an upgrade on the mattress which was a little tired. However this did not ruin our stay. Would return.
The park itself was lovely, very private and quiet , just how we like it.
Beautiful lodge in a beautiful setting
A lovely loddge in a quiet, peaceful area.
Lovely lodge in a quiet location very helpful owner would highly recommend
The lodge we stayed in was lovely. And the owner Ken was pleasant and helpful. The only downfall would be the lodges being so close to a road so sitting in the hot tub you could hear traffic going past. But we would definitely stay again. It's a lovely place.

Here at the Wildlife Oasis you can really get up close to the animals and experience a mix of exotic wildlife and hand son displays.  See butterflies, birds and even bats flying around.  You don't have to plan your visit according to weather either with the tropical hall and butterfly house undercover.  Sunny days are ideal for some of the inhabitants however with the monkeys and Lemurs loving to sunbathe.  The mission of Lakeland's Wildlife Oasis is to engender and foster an interest and appreciation of the natural world which, in our belief underpins wildlife conservation; and, where possible to contribute and encourage contribution to the conservation of wildlife and wild places.  You know that you are helping with this mission if you choose to visit.

During the summer months and especially during school holidays live music can often be enjoyed.
Bowland Wild Boar Park - about 16 Miles
Head for the Bowland Wild Boar park and we don't think you will be disappointed.  A popular attraction in Preston there is so much to do for the whole family.  From picnics, walks and wildlife to experiencing feeding the animals you are sure to have a memorable day out.  Also popular is the kids tractor play area.  For rest and relaxation the cafe is ideal serving hot drinks and snacks with a lovely view over the pond and wildlife feeding station.  The Forest of Bowland has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
