Bulworthy Forest Lodges offer a haven of peace and tranquillity in a wonderful secluded setting in 25 acres of woodland. The lodges are well appointed around the attractive site which boasts no less than five well stocked fishing lakes.

The location is very peaceful but those seeking action and adventure as well as beautiful beaches can find them just a few miles away in the North Devon towns of Bideford Barnstaple and Torrington. There is a sandy beach just 5 miles away with shops and a pub within 4 miles.

Guests can enjoy the free carp and coarse fishing onsite while a larger selection of outdoor pursuits are available locally. The beautiful surrounding woods invite leisurely rambles and are home to an abundance of wildlife and a variety of flora and fauna.

Accommodation is in a range of stylish lodges sleeping from 4-6 people. Guests looking for luxury could opt for the top of the range Larchers Lodge which has beautiful lake views and a private outdoor hot tub. If value for money is a top priority then the Hunters Lodge is a good choice and has everything needed for an excellent self catering holiday.

Due to the steep gradients and steps Bulworthy Forest Lodges are not suitable for wheelchair users or persons with severe mobility difficulties.

These lodges are lovely and have a homely feel. They are not 5 luxury that you are worried about touching anything but are warm , comfortable and ideal for the location.

Accommodation type: Hunter's Lodge
Hunters lodge was a lovely quaint clean lodge. Nice open plan from kitchen/diner to living room. Nice size bedrooms and bathroom. Excellent facilities provided, took my own cafetire and there was even one there. Lodge is more cabin like inside with some wooden cladding. My parents were in Kingfisher which was a lot more lodge like with real logs inside out, and included hot tub.

The most relaxing peaceful holiday to date! The cabin was so fresh, light and clean and the hot tub was fabulous. It was wonderful staying in a peaceful pine forest with just the sounds of wildlife around you, and not too far away from the shops and beaches. Both our dogs thoroughly enjoyed it too!
Lynn
It would be more comfortable if there was a smother path between the lodge and the hot tub with a shelter over the top
Chantelle
Lodge was lovely & clean too. Luckily we got a good price because if the time of year otherwise I think they’re quite pricey. Can’t fault it though. Nothing in the area, you need to drive out to go anywhere.
Jackie
Perfect for complete getaway
Karen
This is a lovely spot to stay it is very hilly so no good if you can't get about you need the car to go anywhere, but it is really lovely lots of wild life to see and if you like to walk it's got some good walks.
Kay
Lovely warm lodge, nice to sit on the swing seat with a glass of wine watching the wildlife. Excellent clean peaceful site.
Claudia
The lodge was very clean, well equipped and welcoming. The location was very quiet, rural and well maintained. You just have to be a little brave on the public road to get to the site.
Joanne
