Ruby Country Lodges are the perfect romantic escape. They are ideally located on the Devon / Cornwall border, so you'll have the best of both counties as you explore the interesting market towns, picturesque villages and visitor attractions. The lodges are surrounded by fragrant pine trees and unspoilt rolling countryside.

The wooded setting and rustic lodges give a real feeling of seclusion - you can while away the beautiful Devon evenings in your own private hot tub. However, Bude, with its many restaurants, pubs and shops, is very close by if you want something a little more lively. The Tree Inn is a quaint yet busy village pub that offers really lovely bar food.

Accommodation at Ruby Country Lodges consists of stunning two and three bedroom lodges, all with their own hot tubs. Roadford Lodge is sumptuous and stylishly furnished to a very high standard. The master bedroom has an ensuite shower and there are also two twin rooms and a deluxe family bathroom. It's open plan and contemporary and the patio doors lead out onto a superb decking area and hot tub.

There are plenty of safe cycle paths in the surrounding area. The Granite Way at Okehampton is a fairly easy 11 mile route that takes you through rural Devon with hardly any traffic. You can go gliding and riding at Dartmoor, clay pigeon shooting at Liskeard and canoeing and kayaking at Barnstaple so there's plenty of activities if you have some energy to burn!

Great lodge with hot tub and sauna. Very clean and tidy and also well equipped. Nice quiet site, but would definelty need a car to explore as it is in the middle of nowhere. Also a great base to explore North Devon and Cornwall. Would highly recommend and we will go back again.

Sharon
Really enjoyed our stay. It was a lovely log cabin and was absolutely spotless.
Andrew
We had a family holiday in April (2 adults, 2 infant school age children) and had a wonderful time here. Beautiful location. Quiet, safe and relaxing. The lodge was clean, comfortable and well equipt. The children loved the hot tub and there was plenty of space for them to run around and explore. There are a good number of places to visit within a 30 to 40 minute drive, so it's a handy location. I would absolutely recommend Ruby Country Lodges and we will consider a return trip ourselves.
Hannah
Perfect place for me and my best friends to get away. If you want piece and quite and pure relaxation this is the place to be. Hot tub was perfect, lodge had everything you needed and Andy was brilliant. Would highly recommend 100% and wouldn’t hesitate to return here again.

Used as a winter half term just to get away, had a lovely time no glitches at all.. accommodation was great clean everything as said on the packet , all warmed up for our arrival.. hot tubs are fab and cleaned every day...
Gemma
This lodge far exceeded what we expected. So peaceful and the lodge was warm and very clean. Only downside was shower was a dribble which was frustrating but I'm sure that can be fixed
Keith
Fantastic lodge, staff very accomodating especially when the lane to the lodges was blocked with snow that had drifted overnight. Brilliant holiday will definitely book again.
