Grange Leisure Park Reviews

"The best caravans we have stayed in . The site is well maintained and staff are friendly and helpful. Second year we have been here. We have a family reunion here as our families were evacuated from London to Mablethorpe during the war. We will be back next year. The only downside was the food in the restaurant and bar .But it didn't spoil our stay"
Ronald - Apr 2024
"The football court was a disappointment. It needs resurfacing and is unusable in its present condition."
Lesley - Apr 2024
"Great lodges, lots of space, pet friendly, clean and comfortable! Would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing break with their pets and plenty places that allow dogs inside"
Annie - Apr 2024
"Overall a lovely few days break and couldnt fault the facilities on site. Two recommendations; for lodges with hot tubs I appreciate plastic glasses are needed for use in the hot tub but it would have been nice to have actual glasses to use inside the lodge. Also, for lodges with a lake view I would have liked to have been informed that they were active fishing lakes. There were a number of days where complete strangers set up their fishing gear right outside the decking of the lodge and it felt slightly intrusive"
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Excellent caravan"
Kelly - Apr 2024
"Loved the lodge. Never want to book a caravan again, lodge all the way"
Natalie - Apr 2024
"Excellent!!"
Anthony - Apr 2024
"Will be coming back soon."
Garry - Apr 2024
"I booked the lodge with hot tub. Clean accommodation. Only issues were showers were either too hot or cold, there was a bra wire stuck in washing machine which I had to clean as it was dirty. The sofa was broke and the hot tub was not cleaned properly. Sadly there was no entertainment on which was disappointing for the kids. The spar was stocked well and the Costa Coffee was good. There was some good places to visit around and I did manage to go to the Skegness site for swimming which was basic. It was a lovely gesture for the local loaf and jam for a welcome which I did buy again at local farm as it was delicious. The area was clean but the park was too muddy to play on.It was a nice break away but I wouldn't visit again."
Sarah - Apr 2024
"Definitely needed a coffee table"
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Clean tidy caravan with all the essentials for a week away."
Michael - Mar 2024
"Lodge was lovely but despite booking a 2 bedroom lodge we were given a 4 bedroom lodge which seemed a waste. It also smelt as though it may have been a pet friendly lodge! The lodge was pretty clean although the oven wasn't great, everything else was good.Unfortunately not having instructions on how to work the kitchen appliances was a little frustrating and quite time consuming trying to figure it out. It would be helpful if there were user guides for these."
Joanna - Mar 2024
"Loved this luxurious mobile home ! Spotlessly clean with lots of little touches we've not found before which were much appreciated. A pint of milk in the fridge , dishwasher tablets and a tiny washing up liquid and tea towel . Also small toiletries . We would definitely choose the platinum again !"
Patricia - Mar 2024
"We thoroughly enjoyed our New Year break. The Lodge was spotless and the hot tub was maintained daily. All the staff that we spoke to during our stay we're extremely friendly and helpful. New Year's Eve was brilliant in the showbar, great entertainment. We can't wait to stay again."
Nichola - Jan 2024
"Left o so slightly annoyed that the Holiday Park didn't refund me as my father had been taken ill and could not join us with his dog who'd we'd paid an extra £50 for. Why this is a hassle I've no idea.. Sounds like short arms and deep pockets to me. Rather than policy. So please don't even attempt to give excuses on this one...The lodge we stayed in was great well kitted out and all the latest mod cons found a couple of items of rubbish poking out from under the sofa on arrival, but nothing minging, could do with some instructions on how to turn the heating and temperature of the hot water down rather than leaving the guests to guess and faff arround with a boiler,Views over the golf course are breath taking. The club house - shop restaurants and amusements are well presented and the staff are presentable and pleasent. We felt that the evenings entertainment was a bit poorly executed, Saturday night felt like more of a Social Experiment, followed by Sunday nights hash of ***! almost like they are flying by the seats of their pants.. That said 2 / 3 of our kids enjoyed some of the activities leaving only our 10 year old a lost for stuff to do. Didn't help Storm Babet had hit so everywhere was wet and muddy. If the Aqua park was open he'd of been fine. The £50 security deposit system bit pointless but we got it back with no issue or niggles..The Grange Leisure Park certainly is not ****, the staff we dealt with weren't rude maybe over stratched and trying to do much with too little. With a bit more work this place could be great."
Paul Robinson - Nov 2023
"Was a beautiful comfortable lodge. Spacious and well equipped Enjoyed our stay very much"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"lodge was very spacious and modern with a lovely sunken jacuzzi in the decking."

"Very good , would deffo book again .Enjoyed the food and the entertainment.Taxi into Mablethorpe was a fair price as well ."
Paul - Nov 2023
"The lodge was beautiful"
John - Nov 2023
"Spotlessly clean, 2 adults 6 kids between my sister & I. Baby and toddler so was worried about putting the baby in the floor. Spotless!"
Stephanie - Nov 2023
"A lovely clean quiet holiday park. The caravan we had was extremely clean and comfortable, with a small lake behind it. Nice to see wildlife daily and lovely private view from the decked area. We walked around regularly. Quiet in all areas with lots of space. Clear marked roads and paths. Overall the holiday park is quiet but nice if you are looking for somewhere clean and peaceful. For me and my family (16, 17 and 6 year old children) we wanted a bit more to do. The park area was run down and there are no other real facilities for kids to enjoy. Theres no swimming pool and no outdoor play areas. No bikes to hire either. The inflatable water park is well overpriced and costs £30 PP with equipment hire - rip off. We didnt use the golf course and we didnt go into the arcades. There is a shop, slightly overpriced but reasonable. Plenty to do around the area and we had a good time driving around exploring but not on site. It needs investment to make it more of a family park. If you are going with young children, I would maybe look for another holiday park."
Abid - Nov 2023

"Had a great time at the grange aqua park. Peaceful and quite"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"The lodge came with a hot tub on deck and was checked daily by site staff. The size of the lodge was perfect for 4 people and 2 dogs. I was concerned the lodge may smell of dog as it was advertised as dog friendly, but it was very clean and tidy."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Very comfortable also very clean, had a problem with the sink in the ensuite but was resolved quickly. Caravan had all the utensils provided even a teapot which you don't always get."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Lodge was lovely very modern and very clean upon arrival. Was really good value for money , would recommend and will be back!"
Ashlea - Nov 2023
"We loved it here The lodge was beautiful on a nice clean site with everything we needed and not far from the beach a 10 minute drive up the road Will definitely be returning"
Claire - Aug 2022
"Loved it nice and chilled break away would definitely go back"
Chantelle - Aug 2022
"Absolutely fantastic break. The lodge was 100% and the sunken hot tub was a real bonus. Only negative point is there was an horrendous sewage smell from the cesspit behind the lodge, (BR37) something needs to be done about that."
Verified Guest - Jul 2022
"Great accommodation, great location. Already booked for next year!"
Dawn - Jul 2022
"Love this place, great destination, not overly crowded like other sites, bar onsite serves great food, staff are friendly, hot tub and lodge was great. One downside was the mattress in the bedroom was shocking and gave my partner a bad back. But other than that it was another brilliant holiday there."
Ryan - Jul 2022
"Went for a long weekend to celebrate birthdays (ages 21-24). Stayed in platinum lodge, was worth the money. Had welcome bits in there which was a lovely gesture. Hot tub was amazing on the decking and rooms were good. Wasn’t much to do around the area. Shop on site and was a tesco 3-4 mins away which was handy."
Elisha - Jul 2022
"We loved our lodge, very clean too. The site is nice to be honest and you do have a bar and restaurant but the food suppliers could do with a change as the cheesy chips and anything with this type of cheese, no idea what!, is really not good at all. Bit far out for the beach but if you drive thats not such a problem."
Nicola - Jul 2022
"We had a fantastic week.!!!! The caravan was changed for us because I booked the wrong van by mistake as when booking the pictures showed us a normal caravan and it was a wheel chair friendly caravan. But it was sorted out with no questions and we were given a brand new van it was lovely and very clean. a member of staff in the bar called Richard was very nice and made us feel welcome. The fishing lakes were perfect caught alot of fish throughout the week. The food was fantastic. The entertainment was great although we struggled to hear what was being said the mic wasn't very clear. The only thing missing was a pool. also menus for local takeaways that delivered to the site/van we was given some phone numbers but had to Google the menus and some didn't deliver. Very close to mablethorpe. We didn't have a hoover or cleaning products so had to make do with what we had."
Nicola - Jul 2022
"Overall had a great week away. Kids bouth under 7 fully enjoyed the entertainment and the park its self. Amusement staff was excellent would recommend for young or small family"
Joseph - Jul 2022
"Lovely lodge very clean great hot tub comfortable beds washer, dishwasher and plenty of utensils and outdoor furniture. Everything you need really and also a decent little supermarket on site an added bonus of the platinum lodge is that the cleaners will provide a daily bed making facility and a quick sweep up . Only downside no mattress protectors on 2 of the single beds and only one pillow per person and no spare bedding which is sometimes needed when you have children although I’m sure if it was required the staff would have sorted it out and I’m sure they would have given us extra pillows if we had asked. This is the 3rd time we have stopped at the Grange Leisure Park and we have always throughly enjoyed it. It’s a great location and we were lucky enough to get a platinum lodge that didn’t overlook the road. We will definitely be staying again."
Kim - Jul 2022
"We had a great time. Facilities are good although not large, for a site as big I would have expected bigger. But it was all lovely and clean and staff were really helpful."
Elizabeth - Jul 2022
"Excellent complex we love it here!"

Attractions Near Grange Leisure Park

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Grange Leisure Park. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 7 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 13 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 17 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 17 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
The Deep - HU1 4DP
about 36 Miles
Easily accessible from our Yorkshire Dales lodge parks is The Deep! An award-winning 'submarium', attraction, which is home to over 3500 fish from around the globe. Visitors can a stroll through Europe's deepest viewing tunnel and take a thrilling a glass lift ride through the 10m deep tank. The Deep is also home to the world's largest exhibition, featuring weird animals from the depths combined with slime! Educational talks and events take place daily so visitors can learn about the conservation projects which the centre is involved in. There is also a fantastic restaurant over looking some of the displays and a souvenir shop. Family tickets are priced at just £32.00.
