About Landal Kenwick Woods

Enjoy magical woodland surroundings when you stay at Landal Kenwick Woods. Part of the Go Active Breaks Collection, this luxurious collection of lodges is perfectly positioned in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds, set amongst the acres of rural land found in the Kenwick Park Estate.

This holiday park holds a spectacular array of onsite amenities, including indulgent spa treatments, a gym and corresponding fitness class schedule, and an outdoor hydrotherapy pool ideal for winding down after your workout.

Have a go at the unique activities available, including axe and knife throwing, archery, and even a quad bike course if you’re brave! Golfers will enjoy the sprawling 18-hole golf course stretching across the Kenwick Park Estate grounds, and be sure to taste the delicious food offered at the Fairways restaurant, before enjoying your favourite tipple at the Keepers Conservatory Bar.

Choose from a selection of premium accommodation: the Horncastle Spa is a two-bedroom holiday home with a stylish interior and large French doors leading out onto the spacious veranda. The living space is beautifully designed with modern décor and high ceilings.

The Alford Spa is another two-bedroom holiday spot, with wooden detail inside, a modern kitchen, and plush furnishings throughout. Both holiday homes boast a bubbling hot tub on the exterior decking - the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring.

There's plenty to explore in the Lincolnshire Wolds! The quaint market town of Louth is just a few miles away, with bustling food markets and delicious local produce to sample. Admire the town’s Georgian and Victorian architecture or take a hike up the nearby Hubbard's Hills.

The vibrant city of Lincoln is also nearby, with tons of history, heritage and culture to discover: wander around Lincoln Castle, or climb to the top of the intricately designed Lincoln Cathedral for breath-taking views of the surrounding countryside. Delve into Lincoln's past at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life, or learn about the area’s aviation history when you visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre.

Landal Kenwick Woods Reviews

"Lovely surroundings peace and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was excellent and everything you need even a dishwasher. The swimming pool wasn't to over crowded and facilities was excellent will be going again ."
Mark - Aug 2022
"Lovely lodge. Very clean, only downside was how far it was to walk to the spa and hotel restaurant. Not a lot for kids, a park might be a good idea."
Katy - Aug 2022
"Fantastic holiday we stayed in a 1 bed lodge with our dog. Very clean and enough room for 2 people and great hot tub."
Paula - Jul 2022
"Lodge was lovely, staff were very friendly. Lovely base for heading to the beach. The site could do with a play area for kids or some open area to play in away from the roads."
Kim - Jul 2022
"Lovely location , quite & peaceful ?"
Karen - Jul 2022
"Another lovely stay made better by fabulous weather. First time using pool. Great size. Very clean"
Gemma - Jul 2022
"Excellent place one bad thing no internet in our cabin should maybe let people know this before booking."
Andrew - Jul 2022
"Retreat Lodge was lovely when we arrived we did have to wait awhile as no one is allowed into any accomadadion before 6pm at present.

The lodge was spotless and we had no problems with wondering about infection.

If I could make a suggestion could the lodge be provided with a mop there was a bucket but no mop and for the cost involved a new one every booking is not too much to ask.
There were no cleaning products at all left so information for future visitors take your own."
Sue - Aug 2020
"Great accommodation in a nice quiet area but without the activities in the park surrounding areas like Mablethorpe would leave you with little to do."
Rory - Aug 2020
"Fabulous lodge, had everything we needed for a family of 5."
Lynn - Aug 2020
"The lodge was very good and in a great position overlooking golf course. We also had WiFi which was a great plus as we were not expecting it."
Lynne - Aug 2020
"Enjoyed a much needed break with my family. Could have been much better once Covid restrictions are eased."
Kenneth - Aug 2020
"Great lodge, much better than a caravan, so much more space "
Helen - Aug 2020
"A spacious and very well equipped lodge in a great location near the hotel and leisure facilities.Great views over the golf course. There needs to be more information about times for ordering take away, where rubbish goes, what local facilities there are etc."
Debra - Aug 2020
"A really lovely lodge in the woods, sitting on the veranda in the morning listening to the birds and dappled sunshine made our last day really special."
David - Aug 2020
"We felt confident from the moment we walked in The Kinder its smelt and looked spotless, well done to the cleaning team . Great location for walking , beaches available within 20 min Drive
Everything felt Covid Safe"
Anna - Aug 2020
"Perfect break loved every minute"
Angie - Aug 2020
"A fantastic holiday had by all."
Andrew - Aug 2020
"Great holiday. Too short! Would return."
Amanda - Aug 2020
"A wonderful week away from hussle bussle and Covid"
Susan - Jul 2020
"Lovely place to stay"
Sharon - Jul 2020
"The lodge has a lot of niggles which suggested it was very new. Just like the dishwasher door being spring loaded like a mouse trap and there was enough water pressure for a fountain. Overall it was comfortable and the hot tub was great. It is however not on the decking and is down the side of the lodge on its own."
Robert - Jul 2020
"Holiday was in first week after accomodation re-opened (Covid), so not all facilities were open, so rating only applies to Lodge. Good, clean and spacious accomodation in peaceful wooded surroundings. Well located for Louth and the Lincolnshire coast. Short walk across golf course and fields to pub in Little Cawthorpe.

No wifi, but some 4g signal (in our lodge)

Enjoyed our stay there"
Keith - Jul 2020
"no shop, restaurant or cafe on site"
John - Jul 2020
"The accommodation could have been cleaner. There was something sticky on the sofa that stuck to my trousers. When we wiped down the sofa could see how dirty it was. Everything needed to go through the dishwasher again before we could use it.
The size of the accommodation was huge. Lovely view of the golf course. Despite the cleanliness we would recommend staying here."
Joanne - Jul 2020
"It was an enjoyable holiday. Relaxing, with the Lincolnshire coast attractions nearby. We visited the seal sanctuary at Mablethorpe which is actually a little zoo and our one-year-old grand daghter seemed to enjoy it as well as her first ice cream."
Gillian - Jul 2020
"We would return as lodge was lovely but would be cautious about the level of cleanliness in these difficult COVID times."
Donna - Jul 2020
"Great experience and would recommend this type of holiday wholeheartedly."
Daniel - Jul 2020
"We went for the top of the range lodge so expensive but the overall standard of the accomodation was outstanding. Lovely bedrooms and proper ensuites and bathrooms. The sitting area was very comfortable and spacious and the kitchen very well fitted with all equipment.

Only additional comments are that the waste bin/cupboard had a very bad smell but dealt with by staff by quickly providing a free standing kitchen bin outside the cupboard. Secondly, the outside table/chairs were still very dirty when we arrived (first visitors after lockdown) but were cleaned on our 3rd day."
Andy - Jul 2020
"Without being able to the hotel spa facilities and without a welcome pack, hair dryer etc due to the restrictions, value for money is reduced"
Alison - Jul 2020
"Booked this midweek break to spend quality time with my mum. My mum isnt too well, so was making memories. Had a very relaxing week. Chilled out with pj day, watched videos and played games. The lodge had everything we needed."
Sharon - Mar 2020
"Good, apart from thick dust on top of wardrobes,"
Paul - Mar 2020
"A lovely park with great swimming facilities. The stone paths are difficult for wheelchair users, the lighting on paths and road is very poor at night. In Hazel Lodge there were 3 showers but not one had any grab rails for older people. The activities are very child orientated and prices given in information pack did not match what was being charged. Over all we would recommend this holiday, hopefully the comments made will help the park to improve."
Pamela - Mar 2020
"Lodge was lovely although the en-suite shower too hot and couldn't turn it down. Kitchen equipment excellent and comfortable bed in main bed room. Certainly recommend to friends and family."
Judith - Mar 2020
"Had fabulous family holiday with son and daughter and their families. Lodge brilliant, facilities brilliant and not to far from home in derby. Very relaxing holiday lovely view over golf course. Thank you"
Janet - Mar 2020
"Lodge, spacious and clean. Lovely and warm and cosy."
Claire - Mar 2020
"Small but cosy lodge. Had all the essentials. Amazing hot tub!"

Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 3 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL

Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 14 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
