About Southview Leisure Park

Surrounded by acres of beautiful parkland accessible right through your doorstep, Southview Holiday Park offers the perfect relaxing retreat.  Home to beautiful lakes, green grasslands and wildlife on the border of vibrant Skegness and a short drive from sandy beaches - it’s the perfect destination for a family holiday.

From swimming pools and waterslides to fishing lakes and a nine-hole golf course, Southview Leisure Park has limitless entertainment for everyone. The adventure playground, amusements, sauna, gym and multi-sports court keep the whole family entertained. The Boathouse Bar and restaurant on site is ideal for a quiet family dinner after an adventurous day.

The accommodations are warm and inviting with a variety of lodges and caravans. We especially recommend the Huntswood Lodge which feels like home away from home. The lodge has 3 bedrooms - one double and two twins. Double glazed and centrally heated, the open plan lounge and kitchen combines comfort and luxury. The lodge also has an outdoor hot tub perfect for spending a relaxing evening.

The surrounding area is great for exploring including the resort of Skegness and Fantasy Island.  Skegness Beach with its cafes, restaurants and entertainment is perfect for a family beach day building sandcastles.  If you're looking to enjoy a spectacular sunset then head to Hunstanton Beach.

For nature lovers and anyone who enjoys discovering rare species of birds, The Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve in Skegness has around 214 different species.  Adults and children alike will love the Natureland Seal Sanctuary making it a must visit for families during a stay at Southview Holiday Park.

This holiday park is the perfect seaside holiday for a break away from the routine.

"We didnt get the actual caravan we booked and the one we got was a poor substitute..My son and daughter paid for this for myself and husband for a relaxing weekend before I start my chemotherapy but the caravan wasnt comfortable at all and we went home a day early"
Anne - Nov 2023
"Double bedroom alot smaller than pictures online otherwise caravan was very nice"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"I have found that this caravan was not cleaned to a high standard, and also there wasn't much space to put food in the cooker and also lack of storage in bedroom."

"Lovely site"
Carol - Jun 2023
"Overall the holiday was good.Caravan was lovely but noticed marks that shows caravan never had a deep clean before we arrived. flooring was damaged due to sofa. bed comfortable and lovely layout caravan for 2 adults and a dog.Never ate in restaurant due to smell of cat *** which was advised its something they cant control due to drains but lovely boat house. Can take dogs outside which is a bonus. Dogs are not allowed in most places.Club house is great for families and kids. Lovely entrance when arriving.Lively site so if looking for early night this is not for you."
Toniann - Jun 2023
"The caravan was disgusting! Bathrooms hadnt been cleaned was toothpaste all over, was stains all over the carpet and sofa Was a dirty tissue in kitchen that had just been thrown above cooker. In between the cushions on the sofa there was hairs, food tissues etc clearly not been cleaned!! Was hair and dirt in showers, had to clean around before we could enjoy our holiday but was still not very nice"
Emily - Jun 2023
"Facilities were closed half the time and the cost of food on site in both the shop and restaurants was extortionate. The caravan itself was very nice but we had loads of ants inside on the worktops when we got there"
Claire - Jun 2023
"With COVID there was a few restrictions which cant be helped hated queuing in the rain to get in show bar but got in eventually will definitely be back when COVID is over but overall throughly enjoyed our stay next time Ill do a week great weekend had by all thank you"
Jennifer - Aug 2020
"lovely week, lovely site"
Tracy - Aug 2020
"on arrival we found that one of the bedrooms had not been cleaned at all with dirty tissues everywhere neither of the beds made the mattress was stained, considering the current climate of not being able to arrive until 5pm so that deep cleans can be carried out this was not impressive, fortunately the staff in reception were very apologetic and sent someone round to clean the room, however we were told that one mattress would be replaced and this never happened luckily it was just a spare bed and wasn't needed and didn't effect our stay."
Maria - Aug 2020
"Next time I will book a longer stay it was great"
Cristy - Jul 2020
"Overall a brilliant holiday during a very testing time for the industry. Everything from check in /out with minimal contact to having a text number to answer your questions, reducing face to face contact, was carefully and well thought out.
We needed a change of bedding on a child's bed one night. I had expected to be charged extra and asked lots of questions but it was delivered to our van quickly with no problems after I sent them a quick text.
Overall the staff here, and their helpfulness, made a big difference to our holiday."
Amber - Jul 2020
"had a lovely time , the site is very good but little going on due to covid ,but all in all a good break"
Stephen - Jul 2020
"Last minute booking due to cancellation elsewhere. Many facilities and activities on park closed so not really worth paying the extra to stay on a branded park site when there is not really much to do.

The caravan was nice enough, the staff who we came into contact with were polite and friendly except for the inept Receptionist we first encountered. The plot was tired and could easily be righted with half an hour ground work."
Brygida - Jul 2020
"Fab caravan in a lovely area."
Kelly - Jul 2020
"The caravan was lovely could of done with a better clean however. The dining on site was good however the chef was poor"
Ceann - Jul 2020
"Fantastic time, Caravan was great will definitely recommend."
Sheena - Jul 2020
"fantastic little break well worth the money!"
Wendy - Jul 2020
"We had great time and caravan was new and modern!"
Svatopluk - Jul 2020
"we didn't use the restaurant ,the lode was 4 star"
Alan - Nov 2019
"Excellent lodge and surrounding"
Robert - Nov 2019
"Love the facilities and the staff."
Sandra - Nov 2019
"Had a great holiday"
Paula - Aug 2022
"Great holiday, lots to do and 5 mins drive to the beach !!"
Laura - Jul 2022
"We had a lovely holiday and so much to do onsite there is additional charges but worth the money, staff are really friendly, polite and helpful. The site has lots going on and lots only a short car or bus journey away. I will definitely be using this site again. The only negative is the caravan only had 1 plug socket in the bedrooms so remember a few extension leads but everything else was perfect thank you"

Attractions Near Southview Leisure Park

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Southview Leisure Park. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 1 Mile
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 18 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 29 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 29 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 32 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 33 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 39 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
