Set in grounds that once formed part of the seaside home of the Colmans mustard family, Ocean Lodges occupy a wonderful woodland setting with views out to sea. They're within walking distance of Corton Beach and just a few miles from Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft where you'll find beaches, lots of shops and the beautiful Princess Royal Fountains.
Both of Lowestoft's beaches hold Blue Flag awards and the town has a Victorian garden, a fascinating Maritime Museum and an extremely quaint high street. There are family rides, rollercoasters and sea lion shows at Pleasurewood Hills and an excellent choice of restaurants nearby - the Waterside Bar & Restaurant serves a good variety of pub classics.
Sunrise Lodge has a master double with ensuite shower, one twin room and space for two people to sleep in the lounge, so it's ideal for a larger group or family of six. There's a family bathroom and the open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area has a coffee machine, dishwasher and washer/dryer. It also has an outdoor hot tub and gorgeous sea views.
There's carp and coarse fishing at Waveney Valley Lakes in Norwich and 22 lanes of bowling at Great Yarmouth. The River Chet is one of the quietest Broadland rivers and you can take a gentle walk along the banks, enjoying the wildlife and the lovely views.
Kiplin Lodges offer Luxury accommodation within 11 acres of stunning grounds all the lodges have private bubbling hot tubs and a family and pet friendly, this really is the perfect base for exploring the area and having a superb family holiday.
