Date of stay: 30th July 2018
A lovely clean Lodge with every comfort you could think of. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were a good size, the beds were extremely comfortable we had a week with excellent sleep. The bathroom were a good size and extremely clean. Just wish there had been oven gloves and not a mit as I burnt my hand lifting out heavy grill pan. Also it would have been nice if we had a dressing gown each as my children had to share ours for comming out of the hot-tub. The lodges are well worth the money and the space is great for a family to unwind in.
Mark
Date of stay: 30th July 2018
The accomodation is nice but kitchen area is a little small, think they assume most will dine out. Hot tub was lovely and really clean, the man that tested it was a true Yorkshire man and gave us lots of really useful information, a true gem!

Date of stay: 27th July 2018
A few niggles that needed ironing out. The toilet seats did not fit the bowls and were loose. The soap dispenser fell off the shower wall. There were only 3 bowls & 2 dressing gowns for a party of 4. All was fed back to reception and they seemed grateful of feedback.
David, Liverpool
Date of stay: 23rd July 2018
Wish we had stayed longer .....
Pamela, Glasgow
Date of stay: 23rd July 2018
Deducted 2 points from comfort and cleanliness as I found the beds a bit too firm to get a comfortable nights sleep and I felt the lodge could have been cleaned to a slightly higher standard.. French windows had fingerprints & smears on them, the furniture had clearly not been moved to clean under - dust, debris & party popper from previous guests. It did not detract from my enjoyment & I know there are quick turnarounds between guests but I would have liked the lodge to have been spotless as this would have given the truest reflection of how modern & sleek it was. Minor faults from a really lovely week stay.

Date of stay: 20th July 2018
Had a lovely stay as Aysgarth Lodges. The Lodges are beautiful with quality fixtures and furniture, but a few teething problems (toilet seats didn't fit and we're very loose - when the dressing gowns were eventually provided they were brand new and covered us in white fluff as well as the carpets! also lots of dog hairs in the carpet....good job we are dog lovers) Apart from this very good. Most of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. All essentials provided on arrival, even dish washer tablets, however, could do with a little shop on site as the nearest shop is a car drive away.

The restaurant food was absolutely gorgeous, although a little on the expensive side.

Overall although not cheap its a great place to stay.

Date of stay: 15th July 2018
Wonderful place to visit. Ideal location set near enough to Aysgarth for a nip into town for a meal or a drink. Lodges were amazing and brand new and of course the hot tub with views were perfect. We didn't stay for food in the onsite restaurant but did have a drink there and was very nice. Lovely Spanish waiter, very friendly and knowledgeable about the site. Only downfall was no on-site shop for picking up odd items but not a problem as other options are close enough. I would recommend this place to anyone. Was a fantastic relaxing break. Expensive but well worth the money. Will be back

The lodges were nice and comfortable, lovely private terrace with hot tubs, which was very relaxing. Very peaceful surroundings. Well stocked and clean kitchen with all equipment you need. Comfortable bed. Oddly however the bathroom window was not frosted and was over looked by another lodge so needed the blind closed all the time.

Date of stay: 29th June 2018
Lovely lodge. Lovely area. Weve visited these lodges yearly since being married 6 years ago. Only issues this time was our lodge was not ready on our arrival (4pm) with two very tired and hot children in tow we had to wait until 5:30 before they offered us another lodge. Another downside is the decking has no gate meaning the kids had free roam to the road which became an issue at time. Other than this the lodge was clean, well maintained hot tub and we love the destination and surroundings anyway!
Stephen, Peterborough

Date of stay: 22nd June 2018
Really nice lodge even had dog bed and treats and bowls had everything we needed
Sheryl, York
Date of stay: 22nd June 2018
We were blown away with the lodge (Scandinavian retreat) we thought because it was a small lodge for two it would be basic but it wasn't it was very comfortable. The bed, pillows and quilt were of good quality so we slept really well. There is Coffee/Tea/Sugar provided which will keep you going for a few days, with a couple of packets of lovely biscuits. The only couple of gripes was there was no hair-dryer and if you needed an iron/board you have to ask for them as they are not in the lodge. The hot tub was great and well maintained it was checked every morning, it was also very private as the lodge had an outside area that was completely fenced off, also bathrobes are provided which is a bonus. A really fantastic touch was the bed, toys & treats provided for our dog Sid, he loved it and didn't want to leave.
Vivienne, Newcasle

Paul, Huddersfield
Date of stay: 11th June 2018
Quality of lodge and surroundings was excellent - comfortable and just enough space for 2. Maintenance staff for hot tub literally open the door to the rear area and walk in every day unannounced which we thought invasive. A knock at least would have been nice. Main bar and restaurant area really nice but we thought expensive for what you get. Local pubs offer larger and better value meals and there are several to choose from. Location is pretty much middle of nowhere which suited us fine. Overall, other than the 2 small points mentioned, a really good experience - so much so we have already booked for later this year.
Debrah, Rotherham
Date of stay: 11th June 2018

Date of stay: 8th June 2018
Perfect week holiday in a super lodge, the only thing missing is maybe a swimming Pool, but that may be an idea.
Brenda, Liverpool
Date of stay: 4th June 2018
Lodges were comfortable and fitted with everything needed to make our stay memorable. The jacuzzi was well maintained and an absolute delight. All rooms had televisions and plenty of storage space. The only downside was the single beds which were unnecessarily narrow, there was plenty of room in the bedrooms for wider beds, so not sure why this was.
Overall the lodges were roomy, comfortable, clean and well equipped.
Kathryn, Cheshire
Date of stay: 4th June 2018
Lodge was first class. No expense spared on kitting it out.
Gregg, Hull
Date of stay: 1st June 2018
The lodge was brand new and everything was perfect, the only thing missing was the towelling robes. We inquired about these and we're told they were waiting for a delivery but we never received any .
Joanne, Leeds
Date of stay: 1st June 2018
Just fantastic. The lodges are a really beautiful and provided us with a wonderful, memorable holiday
Samantha, Lancashire
Date of stay: 1st June 2018
A beautiful well equipped lodge - just need more cleaning equipment.
Dawn, Cheshire
Date of stay: 28th May 2018
The lodge was absolutely perfect, there wasn't anything that had been forgotten. They even provided a lovely dog bed and bowls and treats and a toy. On arrival there was milk and wine in the fridge and everything you need for cooking cleaning, washing up etc. was provided. The hot tub was lovely and staff even came to check the temperature and chemical levels twice a day. Each individual lodge was enclosed, which was perfect for the dog as she was free to roam around but was able to watch everybody who walked past, whilst we were in the hot tub.
Marie, Cumbria
Date of stay: 28th May 2018
Brilliant ,lovely time .
Angela, Glasgow
Date of stay: 28th May 2018
This lodge is for two people and it would be a squeeze with anymore. It's very modern, bright and very comfortable with all mod cons like dishwasher, coffee carafe etc.
I would suggest bringing extra towels as a few dips in the hot tub you need them. Also l noticed there wasn't an ironing board and iron so that be useful. Bring your hairdryer too as none supplied.

The only formative feedback l would give is l felt when in the bedroom and bathroom it was quite open to the lodges behind as their hot tub and decking area looked right in to both rooms. Whilst you can close the bedroom curtains every time you went to the bathroom l had to pull down the blinds for privacy....maybe frosted glass would be useful?
Janice, Barnsley
