Old Nene Golf and Country Club Reviews

"Nice lodge which was beautifully decorated and clean. Hot tub was well maintained and enjoyed.
Lodge lacked a few items needed for a 7 night break (more toilet rolls, more bin bags), but plenty of soft towels which was great. Shower was a bit naff, however the rest of the lodge was fab. Comfortable beds and seating.
Some milk and juice provided on arrival would be a lovely thought, alongside the teabags/coffee and sugar, as you can't arrive until after 5pm."
Julie - Aug 2020
"A BIG THUMBS UP for our overall stay"
Sylvia - Aug 2020
"Lovely lodge. Quiet setting, great golf course suitable for children and golf mad husband."
Caroline - Aug 2020
"Lovely relaxing break."
Lynne - Aug 2020
"Loved our stay and would definitely book again"
Victoria - Aug 2020
"Lodge was beautiful. The outside of the lodge needed cleaning, cobwebs everywhere and on the tables and chairs outside. Cleanliness of the inside was amazing."
Kelly - Aug 2020
"Brilliant very relaxing. 2nd Lodge break they are well worth it"
Julie - Jul 2020
"Fantastic lodge, private, clean, warm and comfortable with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend"
Emma - Mar 2020
"Will definitely book again. Has everything we needed - comfortable bed, nice bathroom, well equipped kitchen & if you didnt want to cook an on-site bar & restaurant where staff were friendly, nice seating area, good location plus your own hot tub - what more could you want for a recharge of batteries!!!!"
Sue - Mar 2020
"The Woodwalton is a lovely cosy cottage with evening you need for a long weekend.

We booked at short notice so got a good deal on the price, otherwise I think the cost would be a bit high. Although amenities off site are near by (including a good supermarket), we struggled to find a way to walk there, without doing so down the narrow country road which is quite busy and doesn't have a path."
Pete - Mar 2020
"Although we used the location for a family function and only used the restaurant for breakfast, our view on the whole park was very positive."
Craig - Mar 2020
"Only thing that let's it down is the lack of a heated towel rail in the bathroom, and having the use of a hot tub meant a few towels were used with nowhere to dry them. Other than that a very good time was had, looking forward to a return in the warmer months!"
Jonathan - Feb 2020
"The only one thing I would change is the small side window in the living area had no blind or curtain, which I think is needed for complete privacy, but its just a small thing and we certainly didnt let it spoil our holiday"
Lisa - Feb 2020
"1 of the best family holidays ever."
Glenn - Jan 2020
"Overall a great holiday lodge cant complain."
Benjamin - Dec 2019
"Really nice touches in lodge"
Donna - Dec 2019
"Just fab will be back"

"Amazing, wonderful and a really great time"
Jamie - Nov 2019
"Ideal for a quiet weekend away. Lodge was very clean, bed large and comfy. Only fault if you wanted to be outside in hot tub or on decking not very private but shrubs have been planted so oonce established should be lovely."
Jayne - Nov 2019
"The toilet seat was broken and no dishwasher but other than that we loved it."
Alex - Sep 2019
"Great
Better lighting in kitchen and dishwasher would be a good development"

Jaqueline - May 2022
"This is our second visit to this venue, this time staying in The Wistow which was really nice. The lodge is one of seven on the edge of the golf course also facing the fishing lake. The lodge was lovely and clean with nice fluffy towels provided as well as complimentary shower gel/ shampoos. Very comfortable and with a hot tub which was great. If you are looking for a quiet break in lovely scenery then this is the place to visit."
