About Rosewood Stud Park

Rosewood Stud Park is a collection of luxury lodges in Cambridgeshire, set on a working Stud farm with a huge 72 acres of idyllic green countryside.  The setting is both secluded and tranquil and yet is fantastically positioned to explore the area.

The park cafe opens most weekends and it's just a stroll to the local pub.  A short drive from Rosewood Stud Park takes you to the towns of Bury St Edmonds, Newmarket and Cambridge.

Choose from a range of holiday homes and lodges, all with personal outdoor hot tubs.  Prestige Lodge is a stylish lodge which can sleep up to 6, with a modern interior and waterside views.  There is a larger version of this lodge which sleeps up to 8 and also has waterside views and outdoor hot tub.

The modern Rosewood holiday homes sleep 6 or 8 and have well designed interiors, outdoor decking and hot tubs.

The local area is great for days out.  You could visit the National Horse Racing Museum in Newmarket, less than 5 miles from the park.  Newmarket racecourse is also close by with plenty going on in the summer on Saturdays from children's entertainment to concerts.

Sally - Mar 2020
"Looking at going to another hoeseasons site"
Julie - Mar 2020
"nice place but for the money a few upgrades would be nice the welcome pack was lovely but two small conserves and one small pack of cereal would go far between 8 people"
Paula - Mar 2020
"couldnt beat it and weve been on many cabin holidays"
Paul - Dec 2019
"Lovely girls weekend away."
Charlie - Nov 2019
"Really enjoyed our weekend away at Rosewood Stud. We live only an hour away, but it was just far enough that it felt like a holiday. Great location; the area is secluded in the countryside, but is only a short drive into Cambridge, Ely, Bury st. Edmunds and other local towns. The only complaint we had that a nearby cabin (No. 7 we think) were having a rowdy party the Friday night and were VERY noisy well into the early hours which really spoilt our first night. Of course we don't blame Rosewood Stud for this!"
Kari - Nov 2019
"Overall Id recommend this location, although for children there didnt appear very much to do."
Jackie - Nov 2019
"I would recommend this place if you enjoy the countryside and also plenty to do in the area ."
Lynne - Oct 2019
"All of the best things above. Quiet, lovely, peaceful. Beautiful horses around. And nice to drive out to have a look at the surroundings
Defiantly need a car xxx"
Fatima - Sep 2019
"Will be coming back next year"
Jocyline - Sep 2019
"Lovely location, peaceful and quiet. Marked down only for some elements of the lodge being a little 'tired' (integrated fridge door storage broken, stains on carpets) but other than that a lovely relaxing break, especially the hot tub late at night under the stars."
Verified Guest - Sep 2019
"Only criticism would be no bedside lamps, we like to read before sleep. Cooker needed a wipe before use!"
Alison - Sep 2019
"Accommodation was good size and provided just about everything we needed for our stay. Wi-Fi was fairly reliable too.
As per other reviews I've read; could do with some reading/bedside lamps plus a couple of hooks on back of doors. Fridge needed replacing as no door on icebox. Also need a bread/chopping board in the kitchen area.
Oh and we had no welcome pack as mentioned by some - tho weren't expecting one anyway!
All in all, good accommodation and any little issues we did have dealt with very quickly by staff.
Thank you for our stay."
Angela - Aug 2019
"We had an amazing time and will go back again in the future. An ideal place to get away with it all."
Mark - Jun 2019
"Great time. Lovey lodge. Fab weather. Marquee noise bad."
Ben - Jun 2019
"Amazing holiday enjoyed by all members which varied from 56 to 2 years old!!"
Vanessa - May 2019
"Overall a great time had by all !!"
Ann - Apr 2019
"Had a wonderful relaxing time, shower our friends around as its our venue for our wedding! Cant wait to be back!"
Nicola - Apr 2019
"Well definitely be back!!"
Wayne - Mar 2019
"It was a beautiful, quiet location with a cafe, play area and a pub no more than a 5 minute drive away. The cabin was lovely and spacious. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We all said that we would look forward to staying again."
Katrina - Aug 2022
"Lovely location, very quiet but only a ten minute drive from Tesco should you need anything. Not a huge amount to do or see on the site, but perfect for a quiet break. Family of 7 here (5 children) and the kids loved the accommodation and hot tub. Cambridge and Ely only 30 mins or so away. Wicken Fen is a great place to visit and is only a 20 min drive. Accommodation was very clean. A few minor repair jobs were probably needed (shower bracket loose and one missing Oven Knob) but nothing major."
Colin - Aug 2022
"An amazing, tranquil gorgeous holiday park. Lodge was top notch. Staff very helpful and just so great to wake up see the horses. Lovely stay, thank you."
Margaret - Jul 2022
"Restful break easily accessible to different areas, all in all highly recommendable!!"
Michelle - Jul 2022
"Shame it was just a set price for set nights? More flexibility would be nice. We travelled up for a weekend wedding from Hampshire and we had to pay for Fri/sat and Sunday stay over??? So bit expensive for two nights needed."
Allison - Jun 2022
"Had a fantastic stay nice and peaceful, hot tub was great in morning with the sunrise."
Verified Guest - Jun 2022
"Everything was perfect for us, quiet place between trees with a small pond, with ducks and geese. Good for disconnecting for a few days. We visited some national trust locations in the area, parks, and a close mill. We saw horses close by, rabbits, sheeps and heard so many birds between the trees. Also there was a wedding, but we managed to sleep."
Adriana - Jun 2022
"Lovely 4 night stay-beautiful surroundings!"
Corinne - Jun 2022
"The caravan was spotless hot tub was lovely we went out to ely which was great the country park there was lovely if you have children take them there walk along the river grab some lunch fantastic and the dog loved it as well"

Attractions Near Rosewood Stud Park

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Rosewood Stud Park. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
National Horse Racing Museum - CB8 8JL
about 4 Miles
This is a museum with a difference and a must see if you are into horse racing.  You can take guided tours around the museum or choose to wander round yourself admiring the exhibits.  New for 2010 is a Junior Fun Tour which is ideal for children.  Simply ask the gallery staff for a Fun Tour pack when you enter the museum and kids can answer questions and spot clues and tips on the way round.  One of the most popular recent exhibitions is the Thoroughbred: State of the Art exhibition in Gallery 5 on until 31st October.  Check out their websites for the latest exhibitions.
Ickworth House, Park & Gardens - IP29 5QE
about 11 Miles
The National Trust Ickworth House, Park & Gardens is a Beautiful 1800 acre country estate with many attractions including a fantastic adventure playground for the children and a range of nature trails which the whole family will enjoy. The site also has a family friendly cycle route a gift shop and a small café
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 26 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 27 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Great Notley Park - CM77 7FS
about 30 Miles
This attraction is currently under construction but we are looking forward to it opening in early 2011.  The philosophy of the Discovery Centre is 'healthy body, healthy mind, healthy planet and aims to change people's attitudes and actions towards our planet.  Educational as well as fun there are plenty of activities such as outdoor sport pitches, cycle and walking trails and indoor activity rooms.  This is a unique attraction for the whole family.
Suffolk Owl Sanctuary - IP28 6HX
about 30 Miles
This amazing owl sanctuary located in the Stowmarket area of Suffolk should be high on your list of places to visit in the area.  The attraction is also a registered charity and carries out important work in the care & rehabilitation of owls from the region.  The sanctuary also raises awareness of owl conservation throughout the UK.  Between April and the end of September there are two superb flying displays each day so you should try and make your visit coincide with one of these displays if you can.
Colchester Zoo - CO3 0SL
about 35 Miles
Colchester Zoo is a fantastic place to visit with something for all the family.  Wander around and see the array of animals in excellent habitats.  Don't forget to visit the Leopards at Ussuri Falls, this new expansion can be located opposte the White Tiger Valley and the Medellin Momkeys.  Other popular areas of the zoo include Tiger Taiga, Chimp World and Wallaby Walkabout.   Look out for special events throughout the year such as Shriek Week on Halloween.  If you book tickets online you can obtain a discount of 10% and are also fast tracked on entry to the zoo - a great idea in the school holidays.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 39 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
