About Forest of Dean Lodges

Forest of Dean Lodges combine a stunning location with luxurious accommodation to create the perfect environment for a relaxing holiday for the whole family. The lodges are surrounded by oak woodland and offer easy access to spectacular scenery, picturesque villages and historic Market towns.

The site is well equipped for nature lovers with trails, ranger led walks, mountain biking and forest walking all on offer. Other facilities include children's play area, coffee lounge and shop selling self catering essentials and souvenirs. There is also a launderette. Those seeking exciting outdoor activities will find plenty in the surrounding area including climbing, abseiling and canoeing in the Wye Valley.

If a more gentle pace is required then golf, fishing and woodland walks can also be found. Families can enjoy a range of attractions including gardens, parks, craft centres and even steam train rides.

Most of the lodges here have luxurious private hot tubs which offer the prefect place to unwind after a day of exploring the region. We recommend the Golden Oak Lodges to families. These lodges have either two or three bedrooms and are very spacious and modern. The Golden Oak Plus and Golden Oak Treehouse are ideal for large groups and offer top of the range accommodation with all the mod cons. If value for money is a top priority then the Silver Birch Lodges are ideal and won't blow the budget.

Dan - Nov 2019
"Great value for money on the week we booked it was dogs go free which is why we booked because £60 a dog very expensive we probably would have booked somewhere else that takes dogs for free or not that price otherwise we had a brilliant time"
Sally - Nov 2019
"We recently had a long weekend at the Forest of Dean lodges. We took our three German Shepherds with us so booked a a two bedroom lodge to give us more space. We were really impressed with the lodge and did not find anything wrong with the accommodation in the slightest. We ordered food to be delivered to the lodge and it was outstanding - good food, reasonably priced and delivered on time.

We spent our time walking the dogs, relaxing in the hot and generally chilling. The only thing we would ask for is a mop and bucket so that we can keep the floor clean after walking our dogs, especially given the rain weve had this year.

We will be booking again as we had a great time."
