About Henlle Hall Woodland Lodges

These beautifully converted lodges, each with their own outdoor hot tub, nestle in 17 acres of stunning parkland in the grounds of Henlle Hall, a Grade II listed Georgian country house on the borders of England and Wales. The unspoilt Shropshire countryside has lots to offer and provides the perfect backdrop to a really relaxing break .

The grounds have open parkland, mature woodland and wonderful views. There's coarse fishing on the park and golf courses nearby as well as a spa offering a range of luxurious treatments. Colonel's Lodge provides deluxe accommodation and has a master bedroom with super king size double bed and a contemporary ensuite shower room. There's also a double or twin room and an open plan spacious kitchen/lounge/dining area with vaulted ceilings and a wood burning stove.

Henlle Hall Woodland Lodges Reviews

"I My boyfriend and I stayed here for only 2 nights and we did not want to leave. The setting was beautiful and the lodge was perfect. The staff we encountered were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The bar/restaurant in the reception was a fantastic addition. Overall we would definitely return!"
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"We loved this lodge. Has everything you need and was lovely and clean. The location of this lodge is great as it is really private and we have stayed in a number of lodges on this park now. We had a lovely time here and would definitely recommend."

Lorraine - Mar 2024
"Fabulous time at Henlle Hall. From the moment we arrived we were met with a welcome drink. The staff are absolutely lovely here and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. Lovely little touches in the lodge such as elemis toiletries, maltesers and wine. Equipped with everything you need for a wonderful stress free stay. Grounds are beautiful and well kept and the coffee tree house/restaurant is just lovely!! This is our 2nd time here and we will be booking again very soon ????."
Laura - Mar 2024
"I personally found the mattress Is solid, and very not comfortable, and the pillows the same. (But its subjective and no matttres is good for everyone)None of the sockets have USB sockets in them, and the sockets in the bedroom are right behind the side units, and have to move them every time, to switch them on, or to remove the plugs as you charge things around the lodge. Its a gas oven, not electric which we realised after 20 mins trying to cook a pizza, also no foil, cling film or grease proof paper, (something the wife mentioned). But theres a massive welcome pack for everything in the lodge and surrounding areas"
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"This is the only place I can truly say from the minute we arrive until the minute we have to leave we just switch off and relax , it's heaven in Oswestry henlle hall ***"
Victoria smith - Mar 2024
"Absolutely gorgeous places. This has to be one of the best lodges Ive stayed in. The kitchen is well equipped the place is super clean. The bed and the pillows are too firm for my liking, Im used to a soft snuggly bed but that didnt stop us from having a wonderful time."
Kirsty - Mar 2024
"Stunning lodge, bedrooms very comfortable each having own en suite was a bonus. Log burner ensured we were toasty. Loved sitting in the hot tub admiring the views. So tranquil and secluded."
Fiona - Feb 2024

"A beautiful week with the family"
Laura - Feb 2024
"Just wonderful. The property had everything you could need there is a washer/dryer and small chest freezer that you don't see on the pictures. These are hidden in a storage cupboard along with ample pots, pans and pyrex dishes. There wasn't any plastic ware though and maybe this could be considered just so you can have your prosecco sat in the hot tub overlooking the beautiful countryside views.Slippers, robes and a hot tub towel are also provided."
Jacqueline - Feb 2024
"Everything was perfect, the staff were very friendly cabin was clean ,hot tub was amazing I give it ????"

"Lovely lodges"
Lisa - Feb 2024
"Very clean well equipped lodge , Comfy beds and a powerful shower . Love how the cabins are spaced out for privacy"
Christine - Feb 2024
"Amazing place, would highly recommend. The cabin we stayed in was spotless, like new, with central heating and a fully equipped kitchen and a fantastic shower. Bathrobes, slippers and towels were provided. A good amount of plug sockets, utensils, cutlery, superb pillows and a comfy superking size bed too. The hot tub was fantastic, looking up at at the stars was just so breathtaking. Grounds were quiet, and well maintained, we were right next ot the deer park which was lovely. Each lodge had its own parking space and path so felt very private. The restaurant is up in a tree house and has wrap around decking which has great views . They do a full English breakfast and the service was so friendly. We will definitely return."
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"Treetops is a wonderful place and this was our second visit. 18 months later its still in great condition and was absolutely spotless. The deck is the selling point; amazing views and just a brilliant space - made even better with the hot tub. On that note, the guys who check the tub and wood are lovely! The kitchen is well equipped but we would have loved to have seen a coffee maker rather than just a cafetire in a place as gorgeous as this. We travelled as a group of friends - the one issue there is that the master bedroom is far superior to the others makes it a little awkward when selecting rooms! The master with the roll top bath is stunning. The others are lovely, but feel a little second class. The doors everywhere are bi-fold. This makes ventilation a little tricky - there are no windows to open so its sort of all or nothing! Some of the styling choices are interesting - Banksy prints and moon pictures would be lovely to see some local art or something that better reflects the surroundings. We had a three hour power cut on the site. Nobody really communicated what was going on or came to check on us - being left with no running water, power or even flushing loos was problematic and this could have been handled much more efficiently. We felt a bit neglected!"
Sarah - Feb 2024
"A very good lodge, we loved all the windows in the main area, it was lovely to look out and see squirrels and rabbits. The hot tub is a good size, though there were only 2 of us, it would be a bit of a squeeze with 4. The bed was comfortable, the lodge had all the facilities you'd need. There is a limited welcome pack, so you'll need to take you're own milk, bread etc (some places provided this so don't be caught out on the first day). Very private, not overlooked and very clean."
Lucy - Feb 2024
"Had everything we needed. The hot tub was great. Very private and we were advised of the time when the tub was serviced each day so we were never disturbed."
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"For my birthday weekend I decided to book the Tree tops treehouse. We we NOT disappointed. It was absolutely fantastic. The first level has two bedrooms that sleep up to four. The second is the amazing master suite and the third, the top level is the huge living area with the decking that has an 8 person hot tub.The furnishings throughout are top quality, there isn't anything that I could fault and you get concierge service which we used to have breakfast delivered to us from Henlle Haute, the onsite restaurant, on the second day of our stay. The food and drinks here were fantastic. The staff are so welcoming and helpful and I have to give special thanks to Michelle who helped my partner with a birthday surprise. The downside of staying here is that you have to go home eventually. I have always loved staying here as a couple or family and this time staying in the treehouse was a delight. I can't wait to go back. As always, Henlle Hall didn't fail to give my family top quality accommodation for a wonderfully relaxing weekend."
Franc - Jan 2024
"We had an amazing stay and the lodge was absolutely stunning. There was a slight confusion with the restaurant opening times and delivery availability times. The folder information and online information differed a lot but the reception staff were extremely helpful when we called for advice. They offered alternative takeaway options and were very apologetic about the confusion. The grounds were all maintained extremely well and we cannot wait to return. We cant recommend this place highly enough."
James - Jan 2024
"Excellent CabanLovely locationWould definitely return"

Ian - Aug 2022
"From the moment we arrived the customer service was brilliant The receptionist went above and beyond nothing was too much for her Dev was a delight always cheery and helpful The waitress was also very cheery and helpful A wonderful team that helped make our stay wonderful The accommodation was clean and stunning well equipped and comfortable Loved the deer and ducks We can’t wait to come back :))"
Mary - Jul 2022
"Lovely place to retreat to. Welcome gifts nice but could do with pods of milk for that first cuppa on arrival before you unpack."
Susan - Jul 2022
"Had a fantastic time already booked our next visit"
Andrew - Jul 2022
"Absolutely stunning place. Me my husband and 2 daughters had the best time the grounds are beautiful the lodges and cabins are stunning too. The staff really made us feel welcome and included our girls they loved going to the restaurant for dinner ice cream and drinks. Really lovely place to sit in the evening. Of course the sun helped but we felt like we was abroad it had that kind of feel about it. The only thing I can think that is needed is maybe a little a shop on site just for the basics but Tesco is only a 10 minute drive away so it’s not to bad. Overall 1 of the best log cabin holidays we have done by far. Thank you to all the staff."
Charlotte - Jul 2022
"Had a fab time, so much so already booked for next year. Very relaxing, great for our dog, lodge well equipped"
Debbie - Jul 2022
"The most beautiful setting, a gorgeous clean and cool lodge on the hottest day of the year. Couldn’t have asked for more. Would wholeheartedly recommend. Lovely unobtrusive staff staff who just left us to relax and recharge."
Sarah - Jul 2022
"We had a wonderful time at Henley Hall, the lodge/pod was just so good and with temperatures of 37c we made great use of the Hot tub in the hot afternoons. The staff are so accommodating too, it was my wife’s birthday during our stay and they were so attentive during our evening meal, and the birthday cake wasn’t bad either….would defiantly return, and probably will later in the e year fir my birthday…"
George - Jul 2022
"Our stay in White Lilac After just returning from a 4 night stay in the White Lilac lodge I have to say I was completely bowled over by the professionalism of Henlle Hall, firstly the staff, from Paul who maintains the hot tubs, his friendly professional manner and helpful knowledge of the area to Allan, Amber and the bar/restaurant staff who were always happy to help and tentative. The lodge on arrival looked stunning from the outside, the real wow factor and inside certainly didn’t disappoint, we have stayed in many lodges but this was by far the best. The estate is well thought out, felt away from it all in such beautiful surroundings. Cannot wait to return."
Simon - Jul 2022
"Fantastic lodges. Clean and well equipped. Surroundings are beautiful and had a wonderful time relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the tranquil setting."
Maria - Jul 2022
"Great place to stay, especially for a quiet/ relaxing break. We enjoyed the hot tub & BBQ to the max and went for some lovely walks in the area. The restaurant was great, lovely decor, food & drink. The whole site is beautifully maintained"

"Went on a weekend away with the girls for a quiet weekend of hot tub, games and drink. The most gorgeous lodges I have stayed in. Perfectly clean and 2 en-suite rooms with comfy beds. All lodges are so private and not over looked which I loved. Perfect location and only £9 for a taxi into the town and they came direct to the lodge. Will definitely be returning!"
