Quarry Walk Lodges Reviews

"Curtain pole kept falling off and had a few issues with heating and leaking radiators"
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Accommodation was really pretty hot tub was lovely and most important the dog liked it"
Niamh - Apr 2024
"Excellent service and beautiful lodges. Been several times and will return again."
Paula - Apr 2024
"Absolutely beautiful place. Stayed in the Robin cabin, and it was so peaceful. It was strange being only 30 minutes from home, it felt hours away. The lovely welcome basket and robes was a surprise, i wasn't expecting that and it was a lovely gesture. I was ill and it rained all week and I still had a great time. Sitting in the egg chair, listening to the rain and jumping in the hot tub was a great mental reset and I can't wait to come back"
Hollie - Mar 2024
"Well equipped cabin, the two settees are very large and deep, which caused me some discomfort when sitting. We had the twin beds linked to give us a larger double, but the beds are very firm, this is something to be aware of as it's a personal preference. The robes and slippers were a nice touch, the slippers came in handy going to and from the hot tub.Great little cabin."
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"A haven of tranquillity. All good"

"It was not really clean but the kitchen equipment was nice and clean."

"Old and dirty is the only way to describe it."
Susan - Mar 2024
"Reel log cabins absolutely love this place. Great place to switch off the hustle and bustle and relax. Hot tubes are totally private. Will definitely be going there again."
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Nice place, in woodland. Cabin was clean, but tired, needs a refurb. We were placed in Fox 20, right by the maintenance yard, which is visible from the lodge. The main access road does need work, full of big potholes. Wi-Fi is a pain, you have to keep repeatedly logging in & if you have more than 3 devices, you have to buy another code. We had a nice stay overall"
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"Comfortable warm, suited family needs well"
Lisa - Feb 2024
"We wont be returning"
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"Had a mint time, couldn't fault it"

"Absolutely lovely week at Quarry park in Hedgehog lodge, very quiet and peaceful, hot tub was checked daily and the surrounding woodland walks were great, we got to see lots of birds and other wildlife and we will definitely be back"
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"The lodge was amazing ????As soon as we got there it was easy to find the receptionist was lovelyWhen we arrived into the lodge it was nice and warm as soon as you open the front door, spacious and very very clean And the bed was to die for so so comfortable We loved the hot tub and how peaceful it was we will definitely go there again"
Chloe - Jan 2024
"Fab stay! 2nd visit, we stayed in the badger lodge this time. Beautiful & cosy."
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"Lovely stay, clean and tidy and would definitely recommend!!"
Elisa - Jan 2024
"I loved our stay at this site. Not a huge lodge for 4 people but all facilities provided. Warm and clean all through and someone came around to check the hot tub hygiene everyday. The only issue was there was absolutely no telephone signal and Wi-Fi was expensive to purchase but other than that we would go again."
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"Cold, no heating or hot water! Spoke to reception who sent maintenance down and blamed the heating scenario on them borrowing our supply to heat another cabins hot tub!"
Loren - Jan 2024
"The only thing I would like to recommend is that theirs more coat hooks fitted through out the cabin"
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"We very much enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again"
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"Stayed in badger for new year was lovely and comfy hot tub was amazing we have already booked to return for new year this year cant beat the lovely country walks we love coming here"
Laura - Jan 2024
"Brilliant stay at the dove lodge over the new year weekend, family loved the hot tub and the lodge was perfect for us had everything we needed. Would highly recommend and we would stay again in the future"
Melissa - Jan 2024
"I paid to stay for a week here and packed up and left after 5 days as there were so many things wrong with the cabin. The heating didn't work it wouldnt turn down, the handles on the windows were snapped off and the oven didn't work. I spent 50 pound on WiFi and it only worked on certain devices. Or kicked the device out and wouldn't reconnect. On checking in we were told to only contact Reception for an emergency. After struggling to even cook my Christmas Dinner and my children being sick due to the heat we packed up and left. I've since sent emails to both hoseasons and the park itself and nobody has replied. I emailed the contact number for WiFi issues again no response. I just feel the cabin wasn't fit for purpose and nobody was bothered about this. I wouldn't recommend."
Rachel - Jan 2024
"Absolutely fantastic. Could not fault this accommodation or site in any way. Staff we dealt with were so friendly, polite and professional. The Badger Plus Lodge was exactly home from home with everything and more. We had the Christmas package which included a real tree, decorations, bottle of Prosecco and gifts for all of us. Special touches and attention to detail were very much appreciated. Would absolutely recommend. In my opinion great value for money and above all THE most relaxing Christmas I have ever experienced x"
Verified Guest - Dec 2023
"Had a lovely time at the lodge it was very clean with ample space. The hot tub was lovely and checked everyday while we was there. The woodland area was lovely listening to the birds and the little shop was great too. I would highly recommend and would definitely book again."
Jennifer - Dec 2023
"A very enjoyable stay within a very peaceful location."
William - Aug 2022
"Had a great holiday at quarry walk lodges, lovely place, cabin was clean and spacious, hot tub was fantastic was only a short distance to all the activities around that we had booked, only thing was not within walking distance of a local pub but we had our own entertainment at night on our private porch. Would definitely recommend if visiting alton towers, waterworld, cannock chase go ape etc"
Claire - Aug 2022
"A lovely place to relax. You don't get a WiFi or data signal here unless you walk up to reception area as its quite remote and also a signal to call on your mobile phone too. We stayed in fox Lodge 4 , no 56. The hot tub is huge and very private. Definitely recommend."
Maria - Jul 2022
"Very relaxing, total disconnection, 100% recommended"
Eric - Jul 2022
"Clean, tidy, very peaceful & relaxing, hot tub brilliant, staff on hand if needed, ticked all the boxes, will definitely book again next year."
ANDREW - Jul 2022
"Amazing trip booked for a third visit already."
Mark - Jul 2022
"This was the perfect getaway break we needed where we did not need to drive we just enjoyed the walks in and around the park. We found a nice pub for lunch and enjoyed the hot tub and relaxed the whole time. The only little thing which would have been nice if there was a tv in the bedroom as the sofa is not the comfiest for chilling out. But this is a very little thing! The lodge was clean and had everything you would need and the guy came round to show us how to use the hot tub within 20 mins of checking in. Was perfect defiantly coming back again."
Laura - Jul 2022
"Amazing customer service helpful staff and information booklet would definitely be going again"
Danny - Jul 2022
"We stayed for a week mid July and it was absolutely perfect. Very idyllic setting in the woods, 1 mile walk from a great pub nearby, lovely dog walks and four miles from Alton Towers. Was so relaxing ending each day with a hot tub. The staff were all very friendly and our son enjoyed the little play park on site. Great holiday!"
Caroline - Jul 2022
"Loved it here. So quiet, secluded and private. The road could do with levelling out lol. We had no privacy issues with the hot tub and it made our stay amazing. Couch wasn’t that comfortable though haha"
Ellis - Jul 2022
"The hot tub is amazing! Stays hot for ages and has great lights and jets. The lodge itself is clean and equipped with everything you need, including milk, shampoo, towels and all utensils and pans. The location is lovely, in the middle of nowhere yes but just what we wanted and takeaways still deliver to reception. There's no signal so paying for wifi is a must - £18 for 4 days for multiple devices which I thought was reasonable. Staff also really lovely and welcoming. Would definitely return!"
