Where's All?
Ingrid, Northants
Date of stay: 6th July 2018
Spent 4 nights with my daughter and grandchildren in Tadpole Lodge. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. Location was fabulous with a natural swimming pool, open spaces for the children to run around, a resident donkey and 2 hares that visited the site daily. Diana and Roland were helpful but not intrusive checking everything was ok. They also gave us information on places to visit within the surrounding area. We didn't get to use the hot tub. We will definitely return but would probably stay in one of the bigger lodges which Diana kindly showed us before we left.

Date of stay: 19th February 2018
A very well equipped lodge with plenty of cutlery, crockery, cooking equipment etc. Lots of little extras like hand wash, dishwasher tabs, tea, coffee, salt and pepper (to name only a few)
Lodge was slightly cold first thing in the morning but soon warmed up.
Beautifully clean with very comfortable beds.
Hot tub was small but kept its temperature well.

Fantastic lodge home from home needs bigger hot tub.

Date of stay: 28th October 2016
Amazing lodge.
The best lodge we have stayed in. The hot tub is amazing and although only big enough for 4 people comfortably we found sitting in a hot tub looking at the stars the most peaceful experience.
Claire, Norwich
Date of stay: 28th October 2016
Tadpole Lodge is a very comfortable and clean lodge that was ideal for the size of our party - two adults and one child. It has lovely views over the natural pool from the front and the hot tub is privately located around the back which gets the early morning sun.

Date of stay: 19th September 2016

Date of stay: 22nd August 2016
Nice, quiet and private lodge with good views.

Date of stay: 27th June 2016
Fabulous holiday. Only fault would be that the hot tub only holds 3/4 comfortably any more and the water will escape! Not ideal for a 6 person lodge. Apart from that it was great
Date of stay: 17th June 2016
Loved the sofa but too low for one of our party to use as they have difficulty getting up from chairs but took in one of the patio armchairs to use which was fine. Didn't mind the hot tub was only for two in Tadpole as only one of us used it and it was wonderful to sit in after driving all day listening to the birds singing and even in the rain with the thunder rumbling overhead. (It was a rainy week!)

A warm welcome when we arrived and the lodge was fabulous. It was a great base to explore Herefordshire and the hot tub was a great way to relax in the evening.

Date of stay: 16th November 2015
Loved the break but there were a lot of flies. Obviously not the owners fault. Although the lodge is for four people the hot tub is only big enough for two people. So a bigger hot tub would be better. The Sauna was a lovely addition to our break as well.

Date of stay: 28th September 2015
Diana and Roland were wonderful hosts, making us feel very welcome. They have a wonderful piece of the countryside, with pigs, donkeys and chickens. The Eco-pool and its surrounding area for sunbathing was lovely, even if a little cold! VERY close to lots of amenities and places of interest. Well equipped kitchen, comfy living area and nice dining area. Amazing views from front and back of lodge. Spacious 2 bedrooms. My only downside was the the hottub in tadpole was small and was located at the back of the property so you had to be in it early in morning for the sun and it was in shadow in the evening. If hottub is a priority for your stay I would consider lily lodge as the sun would be on the hottub the majority of the day. Thank you for having us, we hope to return again soon

Accomodation was one of the better places we have stayed. Everything was thoughtfully placed like hooks on the back of the door etc., Bed very comfortable. Furniture lovely quality. Kitchen was very well equipped.

Date of stay: 12th September 2014
The Lily lodge was amazing!..very spacious and well equipped, to think what we have paid for caravans over the years when for the same money ( or less) we could have stayed in one of these beggers belief really. It was spotless on arrival and cleaned to a very standard. We also had a hot tub which we used every day. It was a terrific place just to chill out, kick back and relax.

Date of stay: 18th July 2014
Generally a good place for a break. The owners were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and the pool. Perhaps it could be improved with a sand pit for little ones, but for us it was a great base. The lodge might perhaps benefit from a wardrobe in the second bedroom, but this is a minor point. Overall a good place to relax.

Superb; all you could ask for and more. In terms of the facilities, I don't think Diana and Roland have missed anything. The lodge was so comfortable and relaxing, it felt like home from the moment we arrived. We really enjoyed sitting out on the decking, looking out over the pond on an evening.

Lodge was really lovely

Date of stay: 2nd May 2014
Really clean and well maintained. Bed just a bit soft for me but that's just me. Loads of kitchen equipment. Good heating. There's a ramp for wheelchair access but the grounds are gravel which is a bit difficult and the bathroom is small for a wheelchair but it is not advertised as adapted so that is not a criticism. We loved Tadpole lodge.
Katie, Ringwood
Date of stay: 11th April 2014
Extremely clean and comfortable with everything you need and more. Spacious Open Plan Lounge/Kitchen/Dining area which is great with children and views overlooking the natural pool very peaceful & pretty with good sized deck area to front. Hot tub great as well. Plenty of lawn area and woods for children to have some space if not out and about for some of the day - a couple of swings / table tennis table, donkey and pony to feed all enjoyed as well. Not much chance over being over-crowded as only three other lodges (including owners).
Jane, Swansea

Excellent stay, Hot tub was great would be better if it was screened off making it a bit more private but will stay here again, we had a lovely weekend.
Totally relaxing
Perfect for the relaxing get away that we wanted. Cannot wait to revisit again, hope to return later in the year!
Lovely location, very helpful owner, great relaxing weekend.
Tranquil setting with well equipped lodges. We stayed with a young child who really enjoyed exploring the grounds, playing on the swing and building fires in the wood.
Such a lovely place to stay so peaceful and the owners are really lovely
Wonderful place to stay. Great facilities. Last minute booking, very accommodating.
Spent a lovely week with the family. Nice, area and nice property
We had a fantastic break with 2 children (ages 4 and 7). The Lodge (Lily) was clean and well equipped and the hot tub was amazing - even more so after a brief dip in the pool in October! We had a friendly welcome and the lodge was very warm and cosy. We hope to stay again.
Excellent lodge
Just lovely. Perfect for us tired mums as a retreat
Had a fabulous weekend break. Staff very friendly and informative. Good lodge facilities and hot tub lovely. Games room could do with some modernisation, but great fun for a few hours. Enjoyed feeding the donkeys and pigs on site. Thanks for a nice relaxing break.
A lovely place, great lodge with well equipped kitchen, comfy sofas, comfy beds and nice hot tub. Great surrounding, kids loved making campfires in the woods and playing table tennis. Nice to feed the pigs and stroke the donkeys. Quiet place, didn't hear any noise from the other lodges. Owners were very friendly and helpful.
