Loved the pool & spent a fair bit of time in it.

Pete - Jun 2019
"A very pleasant place to stay. Quiet and beautiful grounds. The swimming pond was good fun and the hot tub very relaxing. The lodge was very clean and modern with everything we needed for the weekend. The host made us very welcome and left us to relax and enjoy our stay."
Karen - May 2019

Sharon - Nov 2018
"Cannit recomnend this hidden gem enough. Cannot wait to go back"
Swampie - Sep 2018
"Spent 4 nights with my daughter and grandchildren in Tadpole Lodge. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. Location was fabulous with a natural swimming pool, open spaces for the children to run around, a resident donkey and 2 hares that visited the site daily. Diana and Roland were helpful but not intrusive checking everything was ok. They also gave us information on places to visit within the surrounding area. We didn't get to use the hot tub. We will definitely return but would probably stay in one of the bigger lodges which Diana kindly showed us before we left."
Ingrid - Jul 2018
"Please don't go when I go you will hate it! Every other time will be great!"
Anthony - Apr 2018
"A very well equipped lodge with plenty of cutlery, crockery, cooking equipment etc. Lots of little extras like hand wash, dishwasher tabs, tea, coffee, salt and pepper (to name only a few)
Lodge was slightly cold first thing in the morning but soon warmed up.
Beautifully clean with very comfortable beds.
Hot tub was small but kept its temperature well."
John - Feb 2018
"This lodge is cosy, well equipped and ideal for a relaxing break."
Pat - Mar 2017
"Fantastic lodge home from home needs bigger hot tub."
Gaynor - Feb 2017
"Amazing lodge.
The best lodge we have stayed in. The hot tub is amazing and although only big enough for 4 people comfortably we found sitting in a hot tub looking at the stars the most peaceful experience."
Louise - Oct 2016
"Tadpole Lodge is a very comfortable and clean lodge that was ideal for the size of our party - two adults and one child. It has lovely views over the natural pool from the front and the hot tub is privately located around the back which gets the early morning sun."
Claire - Oct 2016
"Nice, quiet and private lodge with good views."
Lisa - Aug 2016
"Fabulous holiday. Only fault would be that the hot tub only holds 3/4 comfortably any more and the water will escape! Not ideal for a 6 person lodge. Apart from that it was great"
Luisa - Jun 2016
"Loved the sofa but too low for one of our party to use as they have difficulty getting up from chairs but took in one of the patio armchairs to use which was fine. Didn't mind the hot tub was only for two in Tadpole as only one of us used it and it was wonderful to sit in after driving all day listening to the birds singing and even in the rain with the thunder rumbling overhead. (It was a rainy week!)"
Lisa - Jun 2016
"Excellent modern, comfortable lodge"
Natasha - Mar 2016
"A warm welcome when we arrived and the lodge was fabulous. It was a great base to explore Herefordshire and the hot tub was a great way to relax in the evening."
Samantha - Feb 2016
"Loved the break but there were a lot of flies. Obviously not the owners fault. Although the lodge is for four people the hot tub is only big enough for two people. So a bigger hot tub would be better. The Sauna was a lovely addition to our break as well."
Confirmed Guest - Nov 2015
"Diana and Roland were wonderful hosts, making us feel very welcome. They have a wonderful piece of the countryside, with pigs, donkeys and chickens. The Eco-pool and its surrounding area for sunbathing was lovely, even if a little cold! VERY close to lots of amenities and places of interest. Well equipped kitchen, comfy living area and nice dining area. Amazing views from front and back of lodge. Spacious 2 bedrooms. My only downside was the the hottub in tadpole was small and was located at the back of the property so you had to be in it early in morning for the sun and it was in shadow in the evening. If hottub is a priority for your stay I would consider lily lodge as the sun would be on the hottub the majority of the day. Thank you for having us, we hope to return again soon"
Claire - Sep 2015
"Quality lodge in a lovely setting, plenty of space for our family of four to enjoy and relax."
Paul - Aug 2015
"Everything you need is in the lodge, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board etc, two bathrooms is very handy, really comfortable and pleasantly decorated. Would most definitely recommend it and would definitely go again"
Melissa - Jul 2015
"It was a lovely place to stay."
Susan - Jun 2015
"Home from home. Warm and comfortable. Could not have had better."
Amanda - Apr 2015
"Lovely lodge. New bed linen would upgrade it as fading duvet cover. Minor detail but u asked !"
