Hemsby Beach Holiday Park Reviews

"We had a great holiday as always, but we really missed the armchairs!"
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"It was one of the cheaper chalets but had everything we needed"
Tina - Apr 2024
"Chalet was adequate for the two of us not sure it would be big enough for four people.. sofa wasnt as comfortable for relaxing but was clean and bright. All furniture was very clean . Maybe not as glamourous as a caravan but it was nice to be in a chalet"
Joyce - Apr 2024
"Clean and tidy. Couch wasn't comfortable, but as previously stated, budget accommodation at a great price, so don't expect a luxury lodge for the price!"
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Beds are too small if you are over a size 14 or taller than 5ft8 as small double beds unfortunately. Very limited items in kitchen, we had no tin opener or spatula for cooking unfortunately."
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Our third stay in the platinum lodges. We love them especially the hot tub! Great having 2 balcony areas and they're encloses so the dog can't escape!"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Beautiful relaxing lodge. Dishwasher spa walk in wardrobe in main bedroom en suite really nice. There was cobwebs by the cooker and in main bathroom only 3 teaspoons 3 small plates when the lodge slept 4"
Barbara - Nov 2023
"Caravan was beautiful and clean hot tub was an added bonus."
Rebecca - Nov 2023
"We really enjoyed our stay. And certainly will come again."
Roseanna - Aug 2020
"Great holiday with kids. Perfect location ."
Confirmed Guest - Aug 2020
"The park was the perfect base for our holiday and the onsite facilities are handy. Very well organised to keep in line with Covid restrictions. The only thing Id suggest is improving the onsite restaurant menu, a little bit more variety wouldve been very welcome, especially vegetarian options!"
Sarah - Aug 2020
"Thank you for a great break under the situation everything was done safely and spaciously and very clean"
Michelle - Aug 2020
"Very expensive for 3 nights but it was peak season..... Hemsby is a lovely little town and the beach was lovely"
Leander - Aug 2020
"Caravan was clean but a little worn, as most dog friendly caravans are.
It was spacious and had a well made decking area with a picnic bench. There was a nice grassed area with some trees surrounding our block of caravans that the children lover to play on and explore."
Victoria - Aug 2020
"Nice van, however found under a bed a packet of prescription drugs that werent ours, took to reception who were great and very apologetic. Also in shower a bar of soap, used not ours left on top of shower. Concerned not cleaning thoroughly enough given current pandemic. I bought own anti bacterial spray so cleaned van myself to make sure it was clean."
Emily - Aug 2020
"Great time had by all"
Alan - Aug 2020
"Very clean and well equipped"
Michael - Aug 2020
"Had a brilliant time with the kids"

"Excellent stay here with my family..Location brilliant lots too do with my 11&14 year old boys.
Accommodation New, we stayed in a Gold Plus. It was very clean and well equipped.
I would highly recommend this holiday for a break with the family. Lots too do also in surrounding villages as the Position of this holiday park is perfect.
This was A last minute booking to have a weekend break away and so impressed.
We will be returning.
Highly recommend this for a family."
Kelly - Aug 2020
"Could not fault the park or caravan. The beach was lovely although the resort was not my type of thing."
Shaun - Aug 2020
"Really enjoyed accommodation, some good facilities on site. Things let down were overpricing if facilities on site and on site restaurant and takeaway where felt food was poor"
Tracy - Aug 2020
"Overall, very good value for money, thank you!"
George - Aug 2020
"Absolutely great break, enjoyed by us all. Many thanks"

Gill - Aug 2020
"Really enjoyed it happy friendly people"
Maxine - Aug 2020
"Good family holiday, plenty to do within walking distance, will possibly go back after lockdown"
Tina - Aug 2020
"Lovely caravan
A second toilet would be ideal"
Jennifer - Aug 2020
"The activities were limited due to the shortage of staff on site. We were here a week before schools broke up so this may be the reason why there were not too many staff perhaps. The climbing wall was limited to one day a week. And the pool kept being closed due to lack of lifeguards. Whereas the children’s club was open at 7.30 each night and was ok, the activities were a bit repetitive but the kids didn’t seem to mind though. One of the entertainment staff was a bit wooden, she would have been more suited to a receptionist or admin rather than kids entertainment. She seemed terrified half the time. Also, Some other residents were noisy after 10 pm which was an issue with sleeping children. The restaurant was overpriced. 4 breakfasts with coffees came to over £45. I asked if drinks and toast were included - but they weren’t. The food quality was poor too. Look at Weatherspoons for how to put on a good breakfast at half your costs."
Shena - Aug 2022
"Holiday was great but lake of information given for activity’s but I will return again as it was just right for me as a foster parent and children do have lots of issues with noise and crowds of people"
June - Aug 2022
"Site and facilities were great but the beds weren't great"
Michael - Aug 2022
"It was a great experience all round. Wonderful to see dog friendly really meant dog friendly. Great park great town and great beach"
Brian - Aug 2022
"staff are very friendly polite and helpful"
Donna - Aug 2022
"Brilliant place, clean caravan no issues. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location to beach and arcades. Lacon arms is a lovely pub with great food right near the beach, also the beach cafe had lovely food and friendly staff."

Attractions Near Hemsby Beach Holiday Park

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Hemsby Beach Holiday Park. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW
about 10 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park - NR32 4TZ
about 13 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
Africa Alive - NR33 7TF
about 19 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 24 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 26 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 33 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 33 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 33 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 35 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
