Oxfordshire is one of the most traditional counties in the UK and is well known for having a large farming community, whilst also holding some of the most historical sights in the country. There is an incredible amount of wildlife and natural beauty you can enjoy on your lodge escape, in such a small area.

Relax in your private hot tub after an action-packed day
Each lodge has a private hot tub and will give you the freedom to spend your holiday as you wish from woodland walks and cycling to relaxing in your private hot tub. The Norton Lodge is a spacious New England style lodge which sleeps 4 and comes with a private outdoor hot tub.
Lodges with an Amazing River Location
Another first class lodge break in this area is Benson Waterfront which is just 10 miles from the historic city of Oxford itself. With an idyllic location on the banks of the River Thames we think this is a wonderful base to explore. There is an on site cafe and restaurant, and you can even hire a boat and explore on the water.
The Southwold 1 is a contemporary holiday home and makes a cosy getaway for two people. The larger style Southwold 2 sleeps 4 and has two bedrooms. Both holiday homes are open plan with an outside verandah area and a private bubbling hot tub to enjoy.
Renting a private lodge with its own private hot tub can be one of the most relaxing things possible, and you’ll love every minute.

With beautiful countryside abundant in the county Oxford could not be a better place to take your family and spend some quality time with each other. Those with younger children will enjoy a day at Farmer Gows in Faringdon where “Meet the Animals” takes place daily at 11am and 2pm and includes bottle and hand feeding.
Didcot wave leisure pool is a great choice for those looking to keep the kids happy, especially on a rainy day and has shallow areas for children as well as a flume, slide and wave machine.
