Beautiful Log Cabin<\/h3>\n

This beautiful cabin is handmade from sustainably sourced Cedar and overlooks the stunning Naseby Reservoir that\u2019s sure to bring tranquility to your stay. The sleek and stylish interior makes it impossible not to feel relaxed and at home here. Sleeping four, both bedrooms have an en suite bathroom which can be accessed via a rustic sliding barn door. Luxuriate in the king sized bed or take the twin room if you prefer. Each bedroom is fitted with a smart TV and has views out over the lush green countryside. There is WiFi throughout the cabin.<\/p>\n

The huge bifold doors create a light and airy feel to the kitchen, dining and living areas. The modern kitchen equip with microwave, fridge freezer and ceramic hob will accommodate any meals you fancy making.<\/p>\n

Enjoying Nature<\/h3>\n

Then, dine looking out into nature, keeping an eye out for wildlife, or watching the sun set after a long day relaxing. Osprey and other birds, as well as deer, can be spotted from the lodge. The wealth of pubs and restaurants nearby mean that if you\u2019d rather take a back seat from cooking, there are a number of options for dining out before returning back to the lodge to wind down in the evening.<\/p>\n

If you visit in the colder months, make the most of the luxury Charnwood wood burner and lounge around the fire with a book or a hot chocolate before retiring for the night.
\nDuring the days make full use of the balcony overlooking the water. Enjoy an alfresco barbeque lunch before taking a dip in the hot tub with a late afternoon drink. There is even a bioethanol fire pit should you fancy roasting marshmallows or just huddling up in the colder night air. Dogs will love to warm themselves around the fire pit after an afternoon running around the enclosed grass paddock.<\/p>\n

Fishing at Waters Edge Retreat<\/h3>\n

Water\u2019s Edge Retreat is a nature lovers dream. If your idea of heaven is a lodge that has fishing<\/a>, grab your permit and see what you can catch in Naseby Reservoir which is home to Carp, Roach, Perch and Pike. Or, take a walk with the dog around the reservoir edge.\u00a0 Naseby reservoir is over 93 acres when full and is very popular with local fishermen.\u00a0 It is well stocked with Carp, Perch, Roach and Pike. You can obtain your fishing permits via the Canal & River Trust website.<\/p>\n

Days Out<\/h3>\n

The large parking area makes travel by private car easy.\u00a0 As there is plenty to do in the surrounding area, take a day trip and make memories with you friends or family. The attractive historic town of Harborough is just 8 miles away and boasts a range of antique shops, cafes and pubs.<\/p>\n

Further afield you can make your way to Oakham, Oundle and Uppingham before heading to the lovely town of Northampton which is within 10 miles from the lodge. Enjoy a trip to the wonderful Coton Manor and Gardens or the striking Rockingham Castle.\u00a0 Children will love Bugtopia and Boost Trampoline Park.\u00a0 As the lodge is situated near to the A14, M1 and M6, some of the country\u2019s top visitor destinations are accessible within the day\u2019s drive.<\/p>\n
