The Coronation Inn is also recommended as one of the finest places to dine in the area.\u00a0 Just a 6 minute drive from Middleton Inn cottage you won’t have far to travel for excellent food and service.<\/p>\n

Alpaca Treks 30 MIN DRIVE<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Velvet Hall Alpacas gives you the unique opportunity to walk with an Alpaca in the beautiful Tweed Valley countryside. Trekking to meet all requirements with adorable Alpacas. (Age limit to actually walk Alpacas is 7 years old).<\/p>\n

Borthwick Castle 5 MIN DRIVE\u00a0 or a 15 MIN WALK<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

So close to Middleton Inn!\u00a0 Borthwick Castle and Currie Woods is a 3.1 kilometer loop trail located 15 minute walk\/5 minute drive from the property and features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking and running and you can access this all year round.<\/p>\n

Pentland Hills 1 HR DRIVE<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

If you want to go a bit further afield then head for Pentland Hills Regional Park.\u00a0 You’ll find 100km of paths, including challenging hill walks and routes more suitable for families.<\/p>\n
