Beacon Fell View Reviews

"Excellent, caravan was very new and clean"
Paul - Dec 2023
"Wel book this park . Kids clubSoft play. Swimming pool for my grandchildren. Arrived lated on Friday night about 5/6 reception was closed had to collect from bar.Caravan wasn't clean meds under bed and dirty wash .dirty clothes in cupboard and dirt packets under bed in living room. Complain they came and took meds. Not enough equipment for a family and no small shape knives or vegetable peeler, bottle opener , saucepans way to small for a family. Swimming pool opened very little but private swimming. Bar very expensive wasn't leaving until Monday. Was told Friday no kids club and play area shut until end of season. On web site it says 17th November. And we're setting up for private neon party ????????. Kids play area need some looking at..dangerous in places and never cleaned daily."
Emily - Nov 2023
"I am not happy having booked the site for a pool and having no pool available for the three days and nights"
Carl - Nov 2023
"Nice break we would go again Pet friendly to which was a bonus Good site for a quiet break Wifi was terrible due to the location"
Stuart - Nov 2023
"Caravan was very basic for what we paid, but clean. Did not look like the picture on the website!A very hot weekend and disappointed that there were no chairs to sit outside the caravan to enjoy the sunshine.Shop on site very sparse, there is a small mini golf and an indoor swimming pool but not much else going on."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Staff nice, perfect for a family with a 4 year old. Campsite really nice, caravan nice. Basic site which was what we wanted. But Staff need training, couldnt have a coffee or tea due to staff member not being hot drinks trained, yet manager(s) were drinking hot drinks. Swimming pool closed for half an hour between sessions yet toilets were filthy."
Steven - Nov 2023
"Paid a little extra this time for a new lodge and it was beautiful and right at the front of everywhere"
Lauren - Nov 2023
"Had issues opening the balcony door, reported the issues, no one came to help. The pots provided are too small for a family of 6, not even a medium pot."
Abby - Nov 2023
"This cottage could be a lot better if one or two things were provided, ie a couple of door mats just inside the doors, a tin opener, small measuring jug, bed side light, i would also like to have had some cleaning equipment sweeping brush dustpan and brush, maybe even a mop. The hot tub was a nice bonus when they got it sorted. It needs a little attention to the window handles. but overall we had a nice short break."
Stephen - Nov 2023
"Caravans are spotless, very clean. Loads of room in them. Cutlery is limited."
Linzie - May 2022
"Nice tidy van with plenty of storage and central heating."
Oliver - May 2022
"The caravan was nice and clean - not very comfortable beds but the caravan and location was nice"
Natalie - May 2022
"No restaurant on site only downside"
Karen - May 2022
"Caravan was big and had a large living area. Was not clean on arrival and lacked essential things like glasses and cups (there was not enough)"
Michelle - Apr 2022
"caravan smelt of BO particularly the bedroom ,the carpets were filthy as were the sitting area, bedroom freezing cold heater did not work . The skirting & lamp shades thick with dust. Maybe you would like to steam clean the caravans out before people stay ."
Jacqueline - Apr 2022
"Really not happy, payed extra for the family to have a great holiday and didn't get it."
Mark - Nov 2021
"Fantastic holiday, friendly and helpful staff. A nice small park that accepts pets. I visited with my older mum and would definately return with my family and dog."
Susan - Aug 2020
"The beds and the linen were amazing and comfortable. The kitchen had everything one could ever need. There were a couple of glasses and pieces of cutlery were not spotless."
Alison - Aug 2020
"cant rate a restaurant as the site doesn't have one"
Diane - Mar 2020
"We had a great time caravan cozy warm clean and tidy staff helpful my only small gripe would be no toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived as we all needed the loo on arrival ."
Kelly - Nov 2019
"caravan was a lot smaller than in the pictures but was fine for just 2 of us"
Ian - Nov 2019
"The only problem we found was the of space in the main bedroom."
Robert - Sep 2019
"amazing location lovely site plenty to do"
Angela - Aug 2019
"We're all had a great time and we're all very happy with the service and the 2 caravans in very good condition and good layout for my family group of 16 persons . I love the shower it's very strong pressure we bring our own things but they had everything in the kitchen. We will surely coming back"
Hien - Aug 2019
"Really nice shame there is not a varander"
Jenny - Aug 2019
"The site and facility's where brilliant for a long weekend the surrounding areas where really nice...my only issue was the caravan itself wasn't clean there was dirt/dust all over and the mop was vile it stunk and i had to put it outside...I did speak with staff and they replaced it within the hour....only thing that would have made the place better would have been a cafe or restaurant"
Emma - Jun 2019
"The caravan was lovely. However, it was supposed to sleep 8 and had only 1 toilet. This was definitely an issue at times as we were a party of 7. Plus there was a space where another 1 could be fitted in the shower room. Lovely, powerful shower but no DVD player."
Vanessa - Jun 2019
"From arriving to leaving we had a great stay and there was so many lovely places to visit round about"
Isobel - Jul 2022
"Great little park. Booked another break 2 weeks later!"
Lisa - Jun 2022
"Fantastic !!"
Christian - Jun 2022
"Caravan's are a little tired and need a little TLC, but it was perfect for our requirements. Entertainment was fantastic and the swimming pool (although restricted to 1hr per day) was great"
Daniel - May 2022

Attractions Near Beacon Fell View

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Beacon Fell View. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Bowland Wild Boar Park - PR3 2QT
about 5 Miles
Head for the Bowland Wild Boar park and we don't think you will be disappointed.  A popular attraction in Preston there is so much to do for the whole family.  From picnics, walks and wildlife to experiencing feeding the animals you are sure to have a memorable day out.  Also popular is the kids tractor play area.  For rest and relaxation the cafe is ideal serving hot drinks and snacks with a lovely view over the pond and wildlife feeding station.  The Forest of Bowland has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Happy Mount Park - LA4 5AQ
about 19 Miles
Happy Mount Park has attractions for the whole family including several play areas, a miniature railway, crazy golf, putting green and trampolines, there is also a paddling pool where the little ones can splash around in the summer and a café where the adults can relax with a drink. During the summer months and especially during school holidays live music can often be enjoyed.
Lakeland Wildlife Oasis - LA6 1JH
about 25 Miles
Located in the Milnthorpe area of Cumbria we love this local attraction.  With an eclectic mix of fascinating wildlife and hands on displays this centre is educational as well as fun.  You can wander around at leisure admiring the exhibits which range from chameleons to computers. Some of the most threatened species are kept at the park as part if international breeding programmes.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs which are great value for money.  There are discounts for pre-booked parties of 12 or more.
Gulliver's World Theme Park - WA5 9YZ
about 29 Miles
This is a very popular theme park with three different locations.  The theme park in Warrington contains not only the theme park but also Gullivers Splash Zone and Gullivers Star Studios.  The Solash Zone is a fully heated indoor water play factory fun for all ages which will appeal on rainy days.  Throughout the year there are seasonal events too such as the Halloween and Fireworks event taking place from 23rd to 31st October.  You can book online to save time and secure your tickets during busy periods.  Over 50% of the rides are actually under cover so you don't need to worry about the British weather spoiling the fun.
South Lakes Safari Zoo - LA12 0LU
about 33 Miles

This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals.  Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area.  Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos.  At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed.  Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.
