About Great Hatfield Lodges

The Great Hatfield Lodges are located in close proximity of Great Hatfield, a quaint village in Holderness and near the Yorkshire coastline. The lodges provide guests with a modern and cosy place to relax whilst being surrounded by beautiful countryside. There is plenty to see and do nearby or stay indoors and enjoy the comfort of your lodge that has a fully equipped kitchen, cosy living and dining area and outdoor hot tub.

The lodges at Great Hatfield Lodges are secluded to provide guests with plenty of privacy and peace and quiet. There are no on-site facilities to help keep the site of the lodge peaceful. However, Great Hatfield village is just a short walk away where guests can explore. The coast is just a short drive away so you could also have a day out at the beach or visit York, one of the most popular cities in the UK, offering plenty to see and do for the whole family. If you’re looking to just relax for the weekend then relax in the comfort of your lodge and enjoy your private hot tub.

There are 3 different lodge types available at the Great Hatfield Lodges site which have 2 or 3 bedrooms and sleep up to 6 guests. They all have private hot tubs on the patio as well as outdoor seating so you can enjoy summer evenings outdoors eating, drinking and relaxing. One lodge type is dog-friendly so you can bring your pet dog to join on the holiday fun. Sleeping up to 6, these lodges are ideal for families or a group of friends to enjoy a relaxing break on the East Yorkshire Coast. There is plenty of outdoor space surrounding the lodges for guests to explore, perfect when visiting with a dog so they can explore the outdoors safely.

Located a short distance outside of Great Hatfield, guests can explore the local area easily. A short walk will lead them into the small village of Great Hatfield and a short drive will take them to the coast for a trip to the beach and eating fish and chips. A longer drive (around 30 minutes) will take you to York, a city packed full of history and attractions for all the family.

Scott - Oct 2019
"The lodge had everything we needed including a large oven, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The lodge was centrally heated and we actually had to turn it down because it was so cosy. The rooms were spacious and the large master room had a huge en-suite with both a bath and shower cabinet as well as having another separate bathroom that had the same. The living room had a large TV and sofa to watch things as a family. We had access to WIFI and used it on several devises during our stay. There were a few pictures etc missing from walls where screws were left showing, a drain plug missing from the master shower, a slight leak from the middle bathroom shower, a very wobbly dining table and a section of the oven not working hence the 9 for furniture and fittings but nothing that affected our enjoyment of the stay. We will definitely book again when we come to visit our family in Hull. Thanks."
Louise - Oct 2019

Brilliant value for money especially as you have everything including washer, dryer, dish washer, etc! Extremely clean and very comfortable. Felt like home"

"We had a great time at Great hatfield Lodges. It was very relaxing and peaceful and the lodge had everything we needed. The owners were extremely friendly on arrival and left us to it for the rest of the weekend. It is very close to Hornsea and so we enjoyed a day there as well as a day in Bridlington. It was great value for money!"
Gemma - Jan 2018
"The hoilday lodge was lovely me and my family really enjoyed it! Very quite and the weather was amazing. The hot tub was a real life saver for me as I am suffering with a bad back getting in a hot tub really helped."
Emma - Aug 2022
"Absolutely amazing, hosts were so welcoming and helpful, especially afterwards once we realised we left a set of car keys there. So so cheap, perfect break for families, couples or friends. Couldn’t recommend enough."
Charlotte - Jul 2022
"When we arrived there was no staff available, only keys in lock. There was no information available in lodge either for local area or WiFi password etc. 6 phone calls to number in booking email wasn't answered. The location was quiet, and suited our needs."
James - Jul 2022
"Was a nice lodge in a good location with plenty of space, just a couple of niggles like main oven didn’t work so had to use small combo oven, the main television in front room was set to a certain volume and couldn’t be turned up and was no Wi-Fi without paying (I think?) which wasn’t good because phone signal was terrible even for 5,4g. Hot tub was good and lovely big garden for dog to run around"
Sheridan - Jul 2022
"Beautiful large lodge (Oak) with everything you’ll need from washing machine to a full size family kitchen. Nice and quiet with the beach only a 10 minute journey away. Bridlington is around 30 mins away for a day trip out. Would recommend to anybody that’s after a quiet and peaceful breakaway."
