Green Meadows Park Reviews

"100% recommend to anyone looking for peace, relaxation and to get away from it all. The lodge was very clean, had everything you needed and is a really high standard. The bed was so comfortable! Plenty of storage for a bijou lodge too! The hot tub was spot on. We booked a pet friendly one, but didn't have a dog with us, the lodge was cleaned to a very high standard, you wouldn't know they welcome dogs into them! Well done and thank you to Steve, Diane and the team."
Natalie - Apr 2024
"The lodge was perfect. It was very clean and had everything I needed and more. The bed was very comfortable and the glass in the roof was perfect for star gazing on a clear night. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and to see owls flying over the site just added to the experience!"
Diane - Apr 2024
"Really enjoyed my stay here, very relaxing and homely. Cleanliness was impeccable, staff/ owners were welcoming and friendly, if needed anything they said to not hesitate to contact. Welcome basket which was a nice touch, map given of the area given idea of where to go which was nice! Would recommend, definitely go again."
Hollie - Mar 2024
"Perfect break lovely pod everything you needed an hottub was lovely hot an clean"
Gary - Feb 2024
"Good although the sunroof didn't have any blinds so when it got bright it woke us up however it was the time we wanted to get up anyway."
Will - Feb 2024
"Stayed here twice and its absolutely brilliant. It's cute, cosey and just what we expected. We stayed here for New Year. its a romantic couple retreat and and great getaway that's tranquil, peaceful and worth the money. The owners are brilliant too and the customer care is second to none. Great hot tub and always maintained daily. Will visit again without hesitation."
David - Jan 2024
"Brilliant place to go to get away from the rat race, very quiet and a lovely outlook from the Octipod.
There's not much to do on site at present but there are lots of supermarkets in the area and some pubs and restaurants."
Terence - Jan 1970
"Amazing holiday and we were so glad we decided to book it at short notice. Will be visiting again!"
Tom - Jan 1970
"A great pod. Pod is just lovely and every little touch is appreciated. Very clean."
Denise - Jan 1970
"Fantastic place highly recommend it, will be returning"
Lynne - Jan 1970
"Loved the pods, small but had everything you would need for a 2 adults. Lovely and clean inside and out.
Didn't realise the outside area was slightly different depending on which pod you are allocated, although it didn't make a difference."
Lesley - Jan 1970
"We had an excellent weeks stay in the Octi-lodge mini. The lodge was clean and tidy on arrival with some nice extra touches such as a barbecue and barbecue utensils.

The glass roof may not be to everybodys liking as it gets light very early in the morning at this time of year, but a sleep mask was thoughtfully provided and the views of the starry night sky were brilliant.

The location was good, being located in the countryside with sounds and views that go with it, yet was close enough to Hull for venturing into the city.

Directions to and access instructions for the accommodation were all provided remotely given the current circumstances.

The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming with Stephen going out of his way to personally (and safely) welcome and say goodbye to guests, which was a nice personal touch."
Christopher - Jan 1970
"Great accommodation. Made a joke about the mirror and crockery cupboard for us midgets. Eye masks were helpful although my puppy is an early riser anyway. Everything you need utensils wise. Great stay "
Linda - Jan 1970
"We had a fabulous time at Green Meadows! The Octi-pods are fab, well made and well proportioned, with everything you'll need for your hols. The skylight is amazing and fab to sleep under the stars! And my god the shower is one of the best showers I've every had, felt like 5 star hotel facilities in a lovely, unique and intimate self catering space. The surroundings are lovely and it felt like we were in a beautiful remote place but everything you need is an easy drive nearby. We had a dog with us and they were really dog friendly and there were lots of dog friendly places arounded the area. Thanks for a fab hol!"
Ella - Jan 1970

"Oh my goodness, we have just got back from our stay at Green Meadows and my little girl is still sobbing we're not still there. It really is such an incredible stay - the pods are well fitted and have everything you need and the location is so tranquil, with some great walks on your doorstep or a short drive to the beach at either Mappleton or Hornsea. And the owner was so lovely - he just popped by and chatted I formally rather than it being all official, which made it feel really friendly. We also felt incredibly secure there. We can't wait to go back!!!"
Lindsay - Jan 1970
"Small and cosy, has everything you could possibly need. Would have liked the outside to be slightly more private but a brilliant little place overall."

"Lovely place to stay, owners were friendly & was in a quiet & secluded area. Would recommend if you’re looking for a quiet break! Also loved the hot tub!"
Emma - Jul 2022
"We had a lovely relaxing week, the lodge was clean, and had everything we needed. The owner was lovely only came on arrival to show us how to use the hot tub, which was the cherry on the cake. We would recommend a stay here, we will return again to this stunning location."
Michelle - Jul 2022
"Fantastic mini lodge. Fully equipped and comfortable lovely peaceful location close to the coast. Highly recommend."
Kathryn - Jul 2022
"There is a Lack of local hospitality venues such as pubs and restaurants within walking distance. That been said it's nice and peaceful surroundings are most welcome"
Gareth - Jun 2022
"me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. peaceful surroundings, the site owner was extremely helpful and chatty. we felt very welcome. the lodge and hot tub was very clean, i would say the only downside to this was the glass panels in the ceiling let in to much morning light haha but eye masks was provided with the lodge so it wasn’t too much of an issue. location was around 20 mins drive from local beach and tesco. a couple of nice places to eat near by also. would highly recommended and will most definitely return for a long weekend break."
Victoria - Jun 2022
"Had a great time at Green Meadows Park, not too far from local towns and another camping park, it still was peaceful and kept to itself. Wildlife, such as birds flying around, and rabbits on the green outside showed the nature of the park. The owners were incredibly helpful if you had any questions, showed you how to use the hot tub and left you to enjoy your own lodge in peace. This is an ideal holiday for one or two people who want the freedom of either staying in with the BBQ and hot tub or venturing out to see the local sights. The way the lodge is laid out is handy and compact and more roomy than what you expect. The hot tub and outside area has some form of privacy with a slatted fence. I would recommend to others"
Charlote - Jun 2022
"Our first time booking anything like this, now everything after is going to be hard to beat this, what a bewutiful location and so peaceful, we stayed for 3 nights and was more than worth it, I would highly recommend staying here, the owners are so helpful and are litirally a phone call away if you need anything."
Alex - Jun 2022
"Very friendly very clean .fantastic location.definitely going again.most relaxing holiday ever"
David - Jun 2022
"Absolutely wonderful holiday, so peaceful, just what we needed you felt so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Definitely would go again"
Angie - Jun 2022
"A lovely little site, with the amount of cabins it keeps the site quiet and you feel more relaxed. The owners are very welcoming and very helpful and always up for a chat. We took our dog with us and the open space of the site is ideal and with a little fishing lake across the road makes for a nice little walk. Overall I would definitely recommend and will even be looking to return."
