About Snainton Luxury Lodges

Whether it’s a family or romantic retreat you’re looking to escape on, Snainton luxury lodges offer a great holiday in an ideal location. Relax outside to soak up the sun or admire the beautiful countryside views from your accommodation’s own hot tub – it’s up to you!

This boutique destination in North Yorkshire will be particularly admired by keen golfers and outdoor lovers thanks to the golf course adjoining the park. Join in on a game or join in the walk to explore the landscapes.

Whilst Snainton Luxury Lodges offer a wide variety of lodge types, we particularly love the Fairway Views VIP lodge. Sleeping four people (one bedroom ideally with twin beds, great for those travelling with children) there’s plenty of space to bring everyone along to enjoy the North Yorkshire countryside. Enjoy a dip in the hot tub, before getting cosy in the robe and slippers provided and winding down for the evening. It’s the perfect way to end the day!

But don’t feel like you’re limited to Snainton – Scarborough is just roughly a thirty-minute drive away after all, and there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained there too. Historians can visit Scarborough castle, home to three thousand years of history including Iron Age settlements and a medieval chapel. Explore the on-site exhibition to learn more about its development by Henry II and King John, or simply relax and admire the views across the north and south bays of Scarborough with an ice cream. Remember to check what’s on before your visit, particularly for seasonal events like the ghost tours over Halloween – sure to ensure that you see plenty of ghastly ghouls on your visit, and great for those travelling with older children (16+) or friends.

Looking for a bit more adventure? Why not visit Scarborough’s only amusement park Luna Park Funfair! It’s a great option for those on holiday with families thanks to the range of rides suiting the brave and bold, as well as those who’d prefer their thrills on the calmer side. Or watch from the side-lines with a classic chunk of candyfloss. See the views from the Ferris wheel or get competitive on the bumper cars, it’s fantastic for enjoying some quality time together as a family. And at just a quick twenty-five-minute drive from Snainton, there’ll be plenty of the day left to explore and enjoy what the Funfair has to offer, or explore Scarborough castle, just a short walk away.

Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park is roughly just a thirty-minute drive away and an ideal spot to enjoy any good weather that might come your way on holiday. Animal enthusiasts can meet creatures great and small, from alpacas and giant rabbits to wallabies and donkeys, or take flight to visit their range of exotic birds including tiny finches and tall rheas! Meanwhile, budding gardeners should have a wander around the three gardens on-site.

The Formal Garden has plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the views and sounds from the aviaries, whilst younger guests can let their imagination run wild around the secret garden which is only accessible of course though the secret door within the formal gardens! Finally, the sensory garden is an ideal spot for children to become more accustomed to contrasting colours, shapes, sounds, smells, and textures. Don’t forget to stop off for a bite to eat at the on-site café and find a souvenir to take home from the gift shop before returning to your Snainton lodge for a well-deserved rest.

Snainton Luxury Lodges Reviews

"Enjoyed this break as much as our previous visits. Have booked again."
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Very nice lodge"
Bill - Mar 2024
"Perfect holiday retreat to recharge lovely spotless accommodation comfortable the hot tub was amazing to enjoy in the evening stargazing we will definitely return we found it a peaceful relaxing holiday for us both"
Wendy - Feb 2024
"Fantastic modern lodge with everything you need and more and an amazing hot tub. The only let down if the lack of privacy surrounding the hot tub for body conscious folks (such as myself) however I did notice there are trees/bushes planted around each lodge therefore once these grow Im sure it wont be an issue."
Gary - Jan 1970
"Immaculate lodge fully equipped kitchen everything you needed and more. Great WiFi, great heating lodge lovely and warm. Beds very comfy. Hottub spotless. The grounds where very peacful and clean."
Pauline - Jan 1970
"Beautiful lodge and surroundings"
Nigel - Jan 1970
"A lovely lodge, practically brand new. Comfy beds, cozy feeling living area and a fantastic hot tub. 20 minutes from Scarborough, 40 minutes from Whitby. A few local villages nearby too. Need a car as everything is a drive including shops etc. Driving range on site is good for some fun too. Really peaceful as only 3 lodges. Bit of road noise from road behind but not too bad and obviously less traffic at night."
Alan - Jan 1970
"The lodge was comfortable, clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed although the space available was a bit tight in places. This was totally compensated for by a brilliantly comfortable hot tub, which allowed jets to be on one side, the other, both or neither. It keep it's heat well and the lights were pretty at night. We've seen people comment on privacy but there is frosted glass on two sides, and the lodge on another, so it is only the side you get in on that is open. We liked to be able to appreciate the view from this side."
David - Jan 1970
"Lovely setting on a golf course, lodge tastefully furnished and exceptionally clean. Very spacious and light. Would stay again."
Michelle - Jul 2022
"This place was absolutely stunning ! Great view of the golf course and the lodge was spotless clean , the hot tub was also a bonus for a us all after a busy day on our feet! Would definitely go back - A bottle of Prosecco was waiting for us on arrival too which was lovely ! We will definitely be back ."
Sheree - Jul 2022
"Beautiful lodge and it was the perfect size for our family of four. It had everything you could think of, such as hairdryers, iron, cleaning pack etc. So save yourself some packing space. The lodge was exceptionally clean and tidy. The staff we met were all lovely and friendly & the owner did check to ensure we had settled in etc. We chose the lodge because it was an Ideal location for our day trips, 20minutes to Scarborough & Flamingo Land & 40 minutes to York and also because we much prefer more rural areas rather than busy holiday parks. There are only three lodges on site so completely relaxing & not forgetting the hot tub. It was perfect to relax in after being on our feet all day, however with that being said, privacy glass has been added which means you've not really got any view, other than of the other lodge. The only other small downside was the noise from the road right behind the lodges as it's well used but if you're a not a light sleeper you should be fine."
Kirsty - Jul 2022
"Was a lovely lodge ideal for my self and husband loved our stay x"
Darlene - Jul 2022
"Located on a golf course, a lovely romantic getaway! Very relaxing, great hot tubs! Lodge came with everything you need. Will stay again!"
Samantha - Jun 2022
"The lodge was clean, comfortable and well furnished. A good site overlooking the golf course."
Dennis - May 2022
"Lovely stay - lodge was well kitted out, modern & comfy."
Nigel - May 2022
"Lovely lodge, very well equipped and comfy furnishings. Hot tub great (no chlorine dispenser though) all in good location, and ideal spot for a base to venture out from. Only small gripe were some noise from the road at night that the lodge backs onto, and grass cuttings all over paths which made it difficult to avoid and then take into the lodge. Other than that very nice lodge ?"
Kirsty - May 2022
"Was the first time at the lodges and could not have asked for anything better. Lodges clean and well equipped. Great surrounding and ideal for local travel."
Peter - Apr 2022
"Lovely cabin. Fantastic open views from the decking for sun rises/sun sets. Very clean."
James - Mar 2022
"We had a lovely stay at this lodge park. The lodge was sited on the edge of a small golf course which was nice to look across. We were within driving distance to the coast so spent our days at Filey and Bempton cliffs, coming back to a relaxing hot tub."
David - Mar 2022
"Lovely clean lodge. Great hot tub. Ev charging point on lodge a real bonus."
