Loch Ness Retreat Reviews

"Had a lovely time, hot tub excellent. This is second time we have been to Loch Ness Retreat and will be back."
Margaret - Aug 2020
"Great location and facility

Wi-fi NOT free"
Elona - Jul 2020
"Amazing "
Claire - Mar 2020
"Would recommend in spring onwards ..winters a bit bleak"
Colin - Feb 2020
"Fantastic lodge with plenty of room for our us and our baby son. Modern and equipped with everything you need. Hot tub was fab for my husband and I to relax in once the wee one was in bed. Location is stunning and the local surroundings are great for walks and seeing the beauty of Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal.
Our only negative comments would be that we could never get hot enough water for a bath for our son so I had to boil the kettle a couple of times but really to us that wasnt a big deal. Also the second bathroom and twin room which are ajointed had an unpleasant smell at times.
Again nothing that would stop us returning or recommending.
Fantastic holiday!"
Sara - Nov 2019
"A great little lodge equipped with everything we needed. I think well go for the larger lodge next time we visit - just for a little bit of extra room with our two children but couldnt fault it, really nice to have the decking outside and of course the hot tub! Well definitely be back!"
Emma - Nov 2019
"Was a wonderful place, the lodge was fantastic one of the best we have ever been to in the UK it was the cleanest place we have visited - ever.

The Hottub was fantastic, looked smaller in the pictures but is in fact really well sized and is a whirlpool hottub.

The facilities were excellent and the staff the nicest you can meet.

Heavily advise going here if you want to visit the area lovely people good value for money and peaceful.

Something to note:

I use Three mobile, and had 4g the entire time, and additionally my works Vodafone Sim also had signal the entire time - so it is feasible if you want to be connected!"

"Apart from torrential rain it was all good, could do with canopy over hot tub for the rainy days but apart from that all was good and staff very helpful will certainly be back again :)"
Eileen - Sep 2019
"Not one problem looking forward to booking again"
Suzy - Aug 2019
"Our holiday was excellent, this was in a great location for local amenities and site seeing trips. It was also well placed for the Harry Potter train and we went to Skye, Urquhart Castle, Loch Ness boat trip, Nessie centre, nice local restaurants and walks down the Caledonia Canal. Our only constructive feedback would be to get speed restrictions clearly marked on the site itself as some drivers were ridiculously fast!!

Otherwise it was really fantastic and we will be back "
John - Aug 2019
"First class holiday for a reasonable price and accommodation was above expectations! A holiday in Scotland is what you make it and this was one of the best holidays us as a family have had in recent years. Would definitely recommend it."
Craig - Aug 2019
"Lovely lodge, very spacious and clean. Only disappointment was no tumble dryer, bit pointless having the washing machine"
Jean - Aug 2019
"Stunning inside and out. Well equipped."

"Lodge itself was spotless. So clean and everything smelled fresh, even came with dish washer tabs supplied. Only down side was the flimsy frying pan (we ate in most days) and no tea bags or coffee for use!"
Andrew - May 2019
"One of the best lodges we have stayed in."
Nicola - May 2019
