Tummel Valley Reviews

"Please see my previous review, the lodge was a disgrace, we gave the site 3 hours to sort out the issues and when we came back little had been rectified, so booked for 4 nights and left after one night. Were never going back to both Tummel Valley and Hoseasons . With Hoseasons you cannot speak to a human only via chat. If youre not on facebook, instagram or X you are in trouble."
Rob - Apr 2024
"Caravan VERY basic. No towels, no dish cloths, no tea towels, most places Ive been to at least give you a welcome pack with basics in, like condiments, soap, washing up liquid, etc. I suppose the idea is to not have any in the caravan so that you need to buy them at the shop on site. They charge you to hire towels.Staff not very helpful when we asked about activities. Food in chippy not very good, food in restaurant mediocre. Park itself is lovely and the surrounding area although the bins were often overflowing with rubbish. I would definitely visit this area again but in a different park."
Brenda - Apr 2024
"Very basic."

"Lovely and comfortable, had everything we needed, it was clean and tidy"
Egbertha - Mar 2024
"Would have liked bedside tables in bedrooms. We used the small tables in the livingroom."
Jean - Mar 2024
"Beautiful newly refurbished lodge in a good position near the main building . Cant fault it."
Elizabeth - Mar 2024
"Caravan was spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and helpful apart from the one who took our phone call.On the Friday when we arrived the boiler was not working so had no heating or hot water.I phoned reception at 6.30pm to be told it would be dealt with.No one arrived so we had no heating or hot water all Friday night.Thought someone would arrive Saturday morning but no luck,we went to reception and were told the girl who I reported the problem to must have forgot."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Really good holiday. Heating not working when we went in. Reported it and it was fixed straight away. Excellent service"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Specifically booked a larch caravan due to the washer/dryer, only to discover it was broken and no replacement available, had to go to reception to get money to use the laundrette on park, certainly not as convenient as having the one in the caravan, the restaurant on our last night - a lot of meals not available , we were told its the low season and they dont stock everything, yet we were told 103 vans were booked and allocated on the Monday, surely they could have ordered more food realising how busy the park was, dont think we will be back in a hurry to be honest"
Nick - Nov 2023
"The caravan wasn't clean, the fridge was switched off and had not been cleaned, I had to clean it before I put my food in the fridge. Floors weren't cleaned, the shower frame the edging was all mold , apart from that it was relaxing"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Tummel valley was an amazing holiday park ..the staff were so very cheerful and helpful ..nothing was to me ch trouble for them to assist you the park was very busy ell maintained and we were more than happy with our caravan so clean and the bedding was lovely and white "
Dawn - Nov 2023
"False impression that hot tubs are part of all lodges.River bank was too open for an area that has a lot of children playing, no fencing etc ie an accident waiting to happen. No swimming time available for just adults, arrived on the Friday and the swimming was fully booked for the week.Roads to and from the village was horrendous and a total nightmare.Strong place for families but nothing was just adults staying.Lovely lodge, well equipped and comfortable."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"We had a wonderful holiday and the nicest pet friendly lodge we have ever stayed in. The staff at the park went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Window latch broke in small kids bedroom could not lock Window not to clever with a 3year old toilet roll holder fell off the wall food packets under kids bed safety handles in Bath slack moved when holding them to get in and out of the bath could easily cause a accident reported to reception all faults fixed the next afternoon over priced"
Gerry - Nov 2023
"I ask for a Madrid beer but it was served in a carling glassI ask for a Madrid glass but the women who serve me said they get stolen so we r not using thembut looking around the pub, there were customers with a Madrid glass so basically she saying because Im a tourist I will nick the glass. Also she was rude"
Jock - Nov 2023
"Would benefit having decking outside give more space to sit out if weather is nice"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"The place wasn't clean and found lice in bed. Sent a compalint about the same."
Bharat - Nov 2023
"Caravan was fine but very disappointingly couldnt go swimming or book ANY activities as they were all booked out."
Deborah - Nov 2023
"Lovely place couldnt fault the camp at all but the road up to it should be at least 30 miles a hour not sixty there are so many bad bends I dreaded going down there every day ."
Christine - Jul 2023
"Lodge carpet badly stained. Not very clean and badly worn. Paving stones very loose and dangerous"
Tracy - Jun 2023
"In the main cleanliness of the interior was ok with a few minor issues. The outdoor area however had not been cleaned as there were cobwebs all over the decking and the windows had not been cleaned in some time.Tap in kitchen sink was loose.Middle drawer in freezer stuck due to excessive ice build up.Middle bedroom door sticks.Front door does not seal properly.Overall more attention should be made to cleanliness of outside space and checking equipment of Lodge is in proper working order."
Thomas - Jun 2023
"The caravan we where in was not the cleanest. One bed sheet had what looked like blood staines on it. And there where numerous insects stuck to the inside of the caravan door."
Melissa - Jun 2023
"The lodge was very warm,at times we didnt have any running water which was a pain but it did come back eventually, the bed wasnt the most comfy for me and my partner a bit too soft. Everything else about the lodge was great."
Rachel - Jun 2023
"The only complaint would be that we were surprised with no washing up liquid or scourer. Apart from that it was great."
Mark - May 2023
"Great accommodation."
Jacqueline - Apr 2023
"Was a great place to chill out and relax"
Michael - Apr 2023
"The caravan we had was beautiful and clean."
Kam - Aug 2020
"Beautiful, spotlessly clean park in a picturesque setting. Friendly, helpful staff and plenty to do in ghe local area. Only downside was no entertainment on site."
Teresa - Aug 2020
"All the staff go above and beyond to make your holiday fantastic. They work so hard and long hours. Always service with a smile"
