Riverside Log Cabins Reviews

"Fabulous holiday, great accommodation with all the homely touches, kitchen was fully equipped, hot tub was fab"
Charlene - Nov 2019
"Idyllic setting and extremely pleasant & helpful hosts."
Peter - Sep 2019
"Great place to go if you want to escape to the country and sit and relax. Cabins are roomy especially since there was just two of us and a dog so it was nice to have the space as well."
Victoria - Jun 2019
"Ideal for a peaceful break with easy access to the Trossachs but not at Trossachs prices."
David - May 2019
"Excellent break in Dunira, not much to do if your expecting a busy area but we didnt want that. We went for the fishing.

Lodges are fantastic for the money and you have exactly what you need."
John - May 2019
"Set in a very peaceful location it was just what we needed to switch off after our wedding"
Gavin - May 2019
"A very well equipped cabin with a fabulous hot tub. The owners were welcoming and considerate. We were there over Christmas and they dropped selection boxes for the children and a Christmas card. They had also added festive decor to the cabin. The cabin site is pretty rural but that suited us fine. There were a couple of rope swings close by and the river to keep the kids ticking over outdoors, as well as the hot tub! There is a hut on site with a fabulous range of family games and films to loan which we thought was brilliant. The electricity by meter added another £90 to our holiday which wasn't ideal but overall we loved it."
Helen - Dec 2018
"Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great holiday"
Janet - Sep 2018
"A great place to stay with easy access to many places of interest and enjoyment"
Peter - May 2018
"Can't recommend it enough"
Annette - May 2018
"Excellent accomodation and no TV mounted on a wall to give you neck ache. A good central location for touring north and south of the area."
Geoffrey - Sep 2017
"our first visit to Scotland - a lovely location and beautiful setting."
Sally - Sep 2017
"Fab holiday for the family, great to go somewhere with no phone signal however there is the option of getting signal at the reception area right next to all of the lodges. There are games, dvds, books, etc for entertainment which you are free to help yourself too"
Lois - Jul 2017
"Very pleased, good value for money."
John - Jun 2017
"Great location for exploring southern Scotland. Lovely cabin."
Andrew - Feb 2017
"A very comfortable lodge. Ideal location to visit Glens around Comrie and Crief. Killin is a short drive away. There is an adequate dog walk opposite the site. Only draw back due to the closeness of the river with birch trees around and close to forests - birch fly and the mighty midge."
Irvine - Mar 2016
"Highly recommend these immaculate and well equipped log cabins. Had a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Scenery is beautiful."
Laura - Nov 2015
"Lovely part of the world to relax in"
Walker - Sep 2015
"Spent just the 3 nights at these great log cabins....but it was a fantastic time!!

It was clean, friendly, comfortable and perfect for getting away from it all!!

Highly recommend visiting here to anyone who enjoys a friendly welcome followed by a comfy and relaxing holiday!

Hope to visit again.......and not just because my wee girl is missing the rope swing over the stream!!

Many thanks for a brilliant holiday!!"
Magnus - Jul 2015
"The only downside is that the shower is fed from a hot water tank and so provides 3 showers at a time. An electric shower would have been better."
Barbra - May 2015
"Earn Lodge is a comfortable log cabin with everything you need for a relaxing holiday."
Kim - May 2015
"Excellent pet friendly environment in a stunning location.
The log cabins are excellent value for money and amply spacious with all of the appliances you need. Ours was very clean and everything functioning perfectly. Being pet friendly was a huge advantage to us and the beautiful outdoor space against the river is ideal. The location is perfect for those who love the great outdoors. There are many walks and cycles on your doorstep and you're reasonably close to many tourist areas should you wish to visit."
Antony - Feb 2015
"Lovely place to stay on holiday. I think it would be even lovlier in the summer months."
Lynn - Oct 2014
"Great time had by us all, Would definitely come again."
Fiona - Jun 2014
"Comfortable accommodation but lodge was tired in places. Previous occupants had obviously had a dog which left a lingering smell. The lodge would have benefitted from a good airing and some air fresheners."
Lisa - Jun 2014
"Some of the fixtures, fittings and furniture was a little dated. There was a few unclean areas of the cabin including the cooker hood and salt and pepper despensers."
Mark - Apr 2014
"Great lodge. Lovely location. Very quiet and private."
Kelly - Feb 2014
