Enjoying a tranquil setting in 22 acres of beautiful countryside, Wooda Lakes in Holsworthy welcomes you for the perfect fishing holiday by the quiet waters. The ideal location also gives easy access to explore the North Devon and Cornwall coast and countryside.

The beaches of Bude, ideal for surfing are just a couple of miles away. An absolute delight to nature lovers, the magnificent Dartmoor National Park and Eden Project are also with easy reach from the holiday park. 

Wooda Lakes is a home to beautiful modern pine lodges surrounded by scenic countryside. All lodges have a fantastic view of the rolling woodlands and fishing lakes. The lodges are comfortable, modern, spacious and well furnished with central heating and double glazing.

Lakeside Lodge VIP sleeps 4 and has two bedrooms. The open plan lounge/kitchen is warm and inviting. And of course the outdoor hot tub is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing evening with a glass of wine. For larger groups, Woodview VIP is a great choice with countryside views. 

A trip to the beach at Crooklets or Northcott Mouth in Bude is highly recommended. Both beaches are pebbly and sandy and popular with both families and surfers. Guests at the park can also enjoy canoeing and kayaking at Ebo Adventure, just a short car ride away.

Bude Castle and Lydford Gorge are located nearby and well worth a visit. The Gorge can be viewed from the woodlands and riverside circular walk which passes the White Lady Waterfall and Devil’s Cauldron, perfect for a day out in the wilderness. 

For those who enjoy hiking and cycling there are various trails such as The Dartmoor Way Hiking which goes through villages, secluded wooded valleys and Dartmoor’s unique tors. Lundy Island, England’s only marine nature reserve is home to a fantastic array of wildlife and located a short car ride away. 

This holiday park is a fishing heaven. The lakes are up to 1.5 acres wide and well stocked with tench, roach and bream.  There are two ponds set aside especially for carp and are open year-round. There is also sea fishing on the coast with several other game fisheries in the local area.

"Nice big well appointed cabin with great views over the surrounding countryside. 5 Great lakes for fishing, well cared for and nice carp in all of them. About a 10 minute drive down some narrow country roads to get to the nearest town (Holsworthy). Easy access to places like Bude and Launceston. Ground bait and pellets available from the reception, but not open all day."

Milky Way Adventure Park - EX39 5RY

The Milky Way Adventure Park is a fun day out for the whole family and has rides and attractions for all ages. There are four major rides including a thrilling roller coaster and an amazing vertical slide for the older kids and grown ups and six fascinating live shows which will entertain the whole family. During your visit you can enjoy bird of prey experiences, find your way out of the maze and feed and cuddle the baby animals.
