Sandy Balls Holiday Village Reviews

"Fab family holiday enjoyed by all, will return"
Michelle - Aug 2020
"Amazing accommodation, clean, comfy and felt very luxurious. Worth the money if in a group to fill up the rooms/ beds provided- otherwise it would be very pricy."
Louise - Aug 2020
"Enjoyed holiday in spite of restrictions."
Derek - Aug 2020
"for a wet weekend in july , nobody complained about the rain."
Tony - Jul 2020
"A lovely place to stay"
Clare - Jul 2020
"A nice break but disappointing as we were hoping for nice meals out in the evenings and this wasn't an option. The food was very basic and there was no atmosphere at all in the restaurant."
Paul - Jul 2020
"We cant wait to go back! Thank you for a lovely holiday"
Vikki - Jul 2020
"This was wonderful accommodation. Very spacious and had everything we needed. Still cannot believe there were 3 tv's! Lounge area TV was massive. Nice to have those extras of a dishwasher too. The bath in the main bedroom was quite a treat along with a glass of prosecco! Very welcoming with tea, coffee, milk, squash and some yummy chocolates, just what was needed after travelling :-)"
Julie - Mar 2020
"Lodge very good , quiet, used as base."
Carol - Feb 2020
"Great stay at Sandy Balls, with a child. So many activities to keep children entertained. Great location and super clean lodge! Would go back and 100% recommended!"
Danielle - Feb 2020
"Very good and we enjoyed our off season break"
Brian - Jan 2020
"We got a great deal for the weekend and so Itvwas fantastic value for money. The lodge was cosy but it could benefit from new mattresses throughout. It was very clean."
Rachael - Jan 2020
"The Lodge was very well equipped. Lovely welcome basket, which was very useful."
Michelle - Dec 2019
"The only small complaint about the lodge was that there were no towels or bath mat supplied whereas other resorts we've stayed in did."
Rebecca - Oct 2019
"Loved the Zen VIP, possibly the screening for the hot tub area could be a little better, a bit open some of them"
Confirmed Guest - Oct 2019
"Excellent lodge (other than a filthy, mould covered dishwasher which wasnt cleaned when complained about)"
Nicola - Sep 2019
"We had a lovely time, perfect location, staff all friendly and helpful. The lodge was comfortable and clean overall. Would definitely return."
Debbie - Sep 2019
"Accommodation and facilities are fantastic"
Stewart - Sep 2019
"Lovely lodge, quite a few cobwebs. It would benefit from a non stick frying pan (we went and bought one) and bottom sheets that actually tucked in as every time you moved the sheet disappeared into the middle of the bed."
Tracy - Sep 2019
"Great surroundings, clean and friendly environment"
Dawn - Sep 2019
"Great amazing the site is really good"
Paula - Sep 2019
"We were moved from comfort lodge 6, this is the rating for the one we were moved to."
Jennie - Aug 2019
"The lodge had everything we needed, very spacious. Could do with some nets on the windows to give privacy to neighbours. Welcoming pack is a great idea and the few essentials for cleaning."
Lisa - Jul 2019
"Booked during summer holidays so expected a higher price although the jump up in price was huge !!"
Tina - Jul 2019
"Inside the lodge was lovely, outside could do with a cleaning team, in particular, the picnic bench on the porch, it was filthy, these lodges are not cheap to hire so everything should be perfect, or as near as possible."
Colin - Jul 2019
"The lodge was expensive but felt so luxurious and comfortable.

If the pools were improved the value for money would be better.

We were also out of season so there wasn't much atmosphere"
Lauren - Jul 2019
"Great cabin with everything you need for a relaxing holiday."
Linda - Jul 2019
"Perfect for our weekend away - hot tub was awesome."
Tracey - Jun 2019
"Great restaurants, helpful for coeliacs"
Helen - Aug 2022
"We had a lovely holiday at Sandy Balls. Our Superior Lodge was very clean, well-equipped and welcoming."
Jan - Jul 2022
"Checking-in dealt with very efficiently. A nice relaxing week"
David - Jul 2022
"Excellent location in beautiful surroundings."
Nathan - Jul 2022
"We got upgraded which was a very pleasant surprise and it was lovely and clean all in all very pleased but was very upset that the outdoor pool was closed when asked to open and it was warm outside they staff was very rude and unhappy to do so"
Trevor - Jul 2022
"We had a truly wonderful time at Sandy Balls and the New Forest. Our lodge was lovely and clean, beds comfortable and the doggy welcome pack was a lovely thought. Lovely site , deep in the woods, gave a relaxing start to every day. I would definitely go back there. Staff in the shop were lovely."
Mandy - Jul 2022
"Perfect place for families"
Loreta - Jul 2022
"This was my second visit because I loved it so much the first time. Stayed in a cabin this time. Slightly disappointed that there was no WiFi, considering the price but otherwise lovely. The site, facilities and staff (apart from one who was very unpleasant) are all excellent. However, I have Coeliac disease and although there is an acceptable gluten free menu, there is a misconception (not just by yourselves) that gluten free = vegan or vegetarian. We are neither! We eat all meats, eggs, cheeses etc, it is just conventional grains mostly that we have a problem with, so don't need vile vegan cheese included in our options. Vegan and Vegetarian are a lifestyle choice. Coeliac disease is an illness that can cause bowel cancer or worse. so we would like the same choice as others. It really isn't that hard nowadays!"
Dawn - Jul 2022
"The campsite is great. The children loved the activities, they did Archery Laser air rifle and walking the Alpaca's. We swam everyday and the pool was great. It was a bit difficult booking the outdoor pool and it was fully booked by the time we worked it out! The lodge we stayed in was very comfortable. Although more than one baking tray would have been good and sharper kitchen knives. The staff were fantastic from the restaurant, welcome staff to the rangers they could not be more helpful, they made the experience."
Justine - Jul 2022
"We’ll be back soon ?"
Steve - Jul 2022
